Seliyoo 8ft Folding Gymnastic Beam,Wood core Anti-Slip Bottom with Carrying Handle

My 7yo loves this. She’s been working on trying to stay straight and on the beam when doing her cartwheels and bends. This helps her to practice it at home without the fear of falling a few feet. The only downside is that it’s a little wobbly but it might be because we have carpet. Otherwise the material seems sturdy enough and it has withstood her constant battery of it.

My kids (3 and 4yo) started gymnastics a few months ago. thought a balance beam would be a great idea for the house. this particular beam is VERY wobbly. The hinge is weak and twists easily. My kids are not comfortable using this because of how unstable it is. returning

This balance beam is just a covered board. Unless the child is very good, as soon as they move off of center, the board will tip over. I believe the board should have some anchors/support to keep it from rolling when used. I sent mine back.

While it’s fine for my 7 year old on carpet in the living room, the material wrapped around the beam is slick, which makes keeping her footing hard. It also wobbles more than I’d like. It’s very light and easy to store, but it’s low quality.

Unfortunately, I had to return it. I chose this one since it specifically boasted about the base not scratching the floor. The metal clasp at the center literally was exposed more than the bean itself so it scratched the floor.
