One of the best value sets at $50, as it has a great number of quality parts. I urge you to watch a video review if you are in doubt, as it would show all the great attributes of this set; 5 minifigures, 2 little figs, the dragon itself, a great little shrine and a noodle cart. Often the inclusion of little vehicle and scene pieces can amount to Lego missing the mark, and have one wonder why the pieces weren't used more skillfully, or left out and the price lowered. Here, however, all the parts of the set have worth, and there are a lot of quality, and unusual, parts for anyone who likes to adapt sets or use sets for piece packs. Price per piece counts are often misleading, but $50 for 575 great pieces make this one of the very best value Lego sets; if it's less than it;s a real bargain and when it retires and it's price inevitably rises, it might still be worth paying extra for if you like the set.

A great set. Surprisingly so. I am normally not a huge fan of the Ninjago Dragons. But this one grabbed me. The brick built head is by far the best Dragon head they have ever done. It is sublime how they shape it to look like an asian dragon. The body is ok with some nice color and texture. The articulation on the Dragon is meh, but no worse than the other dragons. But the build of the head is amazing. The set includes 5 really good minifigs, plus a dog with a crossbow. You get Sensei Wu with a flaming teapot, Cole plus three Ghost bad guys, two with transparent legs and one with the new "ghost" lower body. They look stunning. You also get a dog, a City type Huskie, mounted with a side firing crossbow. The sub build of Wu's Tea Garden wall and gate, and the Ghosts Noodle Cart are great small accessories. The set is also an windfall of some really neat parts. Lots of pearl gold. Plus some rare or unusual pieces. The set is a great value at MSRP and a Must Have if you can find it on discount

We have a 10 year old daughter who is a Lego fan, and she got this set for the dragon. She loves her dragon and displays it with pride. Master Wu is also a super fun minifigure that my children all love. He actually somehow ended up in my daughter's school project of making a model space station, which she did out of Legos. The kids at school all loved Master Wu and he was a much coveted figure in the model space station display. I highly recommend this if you are purchasing a gift for a Lego fan!
