Wow…I mean, WOW in the best way! I was initially really skeptical, but I kept seeing ads for shampoo bars, and I never had a shampoo I really loved, and I wanted to try to continue reducing my plastic waste, so I figured I’d try these. They were the least expensive ones with decent reviews and attractive-sounding scents. I really didn’t expect much though, and I had serious doubts about the foaming capability.Boy, was I wrong.I took it out of the box and was a little disappointed in the size, which seemed really small. I also wondered why it looked like it had rice baked into it, LOL. It also barely had any scent. But I bought it, so I might as well try it.I. Was. Shocked.In the shower, I made like three or four swipes on top of my head and one under my hair near the nape of my neck. The foam was instantaneous, rich, with fine bubbles. I set the shampoo bar outside the shower on a soap rack on a shelf to keep it out of the water and proceeded to lather up my head. My hair literally squeaked after less than a minute. And it does this every time.I bought this in April, use it almost every time I wash my hair since then (and I wash at least 3 times a week because it’s summer, I sweat, and my hair is oily anyway), and I’m *still* using the same bar, though I’m pretty sure it’ll run out this month (September). That means it’ll have lasted nearly five months. N.B.—I do make sure it stays dry; it lives on that draining soap dish outside the shower, not inside.My hair is always super clean and also soft, shiny, and easy to brush. I’ve even been able to cut down on conditioner with this shampoo. I LOVE it, and it’s worth every penny to me.For reference, I’m white, middle-aged, and have fine, medium-long hair that I don’t use heat or other products on.

So first thing to note is this is NOT a shampoo + conditioner set nor does there seem to be any conditioning elements in the composition at all. That said; that is the only downside I have to share 👍! My complete evaluation is as follows.The downside:- it doesn't feel like there are any conditioning properties to soften or detangle- my hair feels clean but not manageable without using a separate conditionerThe upside:- very nice quality soap that doesn't have a bunch of nonessential fillers- no bottles to dispose of- these bars are small but offer a rich and luxurious lather using very little product- the smell is nice, not too strong but not absent either- the bars came nicely packaged and included a great double mesh bag to store the bars in (i actually just apply the shampoo without removing them from the bag). So convenient and simple!I So cute!- the best part was how great my scalp felt and looked afterward! I have psoriasis so my scalp is generally red, itchy and even scabby at times. I used this shampoo ONE TIME!! Once!! And my scalp looks normal and the itchiness is at a tolerant level! (I used the cinnamon + ginger bars together and followed up with an Aveda brand conditioner that i had on hand).

Pros -- nice lather- they leave my hair shiny and full of body- eco-friendly packaging-nice scents- easy to travel with- cute little bag to let it dry outCons -- small size- the cinnamon can stain wash white clothes ( washes out of hair without any issues though even for blonds)- needs to dry fully between each use or it turns to mush ( use the mesh bag they give you)I love these bars, they lather well and leave my hair super nice. 🙂You need to let them dry out inbetween uses or they get all nasty and disintegrate. They give you a nice little mesh bag to put it in though. You can just hang it in the little bag and let it dry. You can either take it out of the bag or just lather onto your hair while still in the bag! ( It actually layers up super quick in the bag.)They are kind of tiny. I'll try to update with how long a bar lasts me.I love that the packaging is cardboard or paper instead of plastic.I did have issues with the cinnamon ( bright red) one staining a white washcloth (when I set it on the wash cloth and didn't leave it to dry properly), but even when I had blond hair it never stained my hair at all. It always just made it shiny and nice.Over all I am very pleased and would recommend. 👍

I have been using shampoo and conditioner bars for 6 years now. I try all different products based on ingredients and price. These lather up nice and the price is so affordable. No plastic or palm oil used. I highly recommend trying these even if you have a favorite.

The box was a little smashed when it arrived but there was no damage to the soap. I used the cinnamon one and the smell was strong but not overpowering, it lathered well with a pink color at first. It definitely didnt take much to wash my medium length hair and it felt great while using it. It didnt over dry my hair although a conditioner or leave in conditioner feels necessary for me. Once dry my hair was shiny and smelled great. Definitely happy with this purchase. I don't think I'll go back to regular shampoo after this experience.

Smells great and was convenient but dried my hair out like a broom

These seem to be really great for my hair. I don’t have oily hair and I don’t have dry hair. I use this about every three days doesn’t dry out my scalp. I really enjoy this shampoo bar.

Nice soap for shampoo and conditioner. Smells fantastic. Long lasting.
