The Same FNB48 in a New Case
First a warning. The FNB48P comes with the PD COM switch set to on (at least in my case). If you're playing around with the tester powered by USB-C and connect a device like a phone to the USB-C output and the output voltage goes above 5V and then you unplug phone it will continue to tell the charger to output above 5V. This may damage other devices that cannot handle above 5V. So be aware and if not using it keep PD COM set to off (the tester will not power on until a device gets connected to the tester while powered by USB-C). While this didn't damage any of my devices, I've read this had happen to someone else.Except for the warning above I didn't intend to make this review long as I had a feeling this is just the FNB48 acrylic and PCB sandwich stack in a new case as there are plenty of well in-depth reviews of it online including one that tests various voltages and current to see how accurate this meter is. But I will point out a few things I saw reading the other reviews. There's no manual for FNB48P as mentioned by a few other reviewers. The solution is to use the manual for the FNB48/FNB48S (FNB48 English manual-V0.6.pdf) on FNIRSI's website. All the information in the PDF is true to this model so again this is just the same FNB48 in a new case.*EDIT* March 14, 2023 I have just seen the manual for the FNB48P has been uploaded in early February.FNB48P English User Manual V-01.4.pdf 2023-02-07There's one review that mentioned the temperature cannot be changed between Celsius and Fahrenheit on the device is incorrect. You can change it. On the simplest data screen with the volt, current, and watt measurements hold the tilt wheel to the left and you will go to the device settings screen. While in the "GEN" tab tap on the wheel and scroll down to temperature symbol, tap again and from there you can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Picture included. On the "SYS" system tab it showed it came loaded with the most recent at the time of review firmware v1.10.There are a few more additional page/screen, functions and adjustments found on the other page/screens besides Cable Measurement when holding tilt wheel to the left, right or pressing down on the tilt wheel too.If you already own the FNB48 then I don't see one being interested in this "P" version unless you want a new case. It's the FNB58 that you'll want to look at. For someone who doesn't have any modern USB tester like myself at before getting this there is another option which you could save another $15 to $20 just getting the acrylic PCB sandwich stack version.

Very useful device for testing component outputs and cables, etc.
The media could not be loaded. This FNIRSI USB Tester (mini O-scope) is really cool. I love the vivid colors of the display. It's easy to read and gives you a lot of information as you toggle through the screens. My primary purpose for getting this device was to check the output of my PC USB connectors and to check cables to make sure they were good and if they were allowing devices to be charged at the correct rates, etc.So far it's working as intended. I'm able to plug the device directly into a USB-A port and plug a USB-A connector into the device. It has USB-C input and output and micro-USB. You can input USB-C and output through USB-A and so on. Being able to see the Voltage, Amperage and Watts my devices are being charged with is very useful to verify or troubleshoot what's going on. The device will also graph the inputs live. It's a very versatile tool.I haven't tested all aspects of this device because I tend to use is strictly for certain purposes. However, one thing I noticed, and it has me scratching my head, is that it resets after a few seconds after initially connecting my 30W Warp charger (for OnePlus 7 Pro). I've included the video clip to show you what it's doing. You can see that the wattage starts to increase to just over 12W and then the device resets. When it comes back online the wattage stays around 6W. I'm not sure why it behaves this way. As far as I know there are no issue with the Warp charging plug.Overall, it's a great product and I've used it quite a bit in the month I've had it. I'd definitely recommend. 4/5 stars.
