Best on the market
Cookies and cream is amazing. I drink once a day and never tire of it. High quality, taste great even with water! The macros are the best around the ingredients are very good!

Love it
Casein is an underrated supplement and this a great version of it. Great taste, decent value.

Great before bed
I drink this before bed to help with recovery and that extra bit of protein. It taste great and I feel it helps me sleep faster/better. To get it to 100% dissolve, I use room temp water to mix it then refrigerate a few hours before bed. You're left with a creamy and clump-free drink!

Great benefits but some challenges
I love this brand and have been purchasing whey protein for many years. I like the taste of this protein and love the benefits of casein like slower digestion. The only issue with this protein is dissolvability. I like to make a protein shake every morning with my Nutribullet and add ice, fruit, protein powder, and water or almond milk. The protein shakes made with casein are icy and chunky. The same shake made with Optimum Nutrition whey is super creamy. I would love to know if anyone has found the secret to making a creamy protein shake with casein, or if there's a flavor that's better than others for dissolvability. For now, I've started adding the casein protein powder to oatmeal and it's delicious!

Great product! ON Casein FTW!
If you're serious about bodybuilding, or at least about gaining muscle and being a regular at the gym, chances are that you've done your research on protein supplements. Whey protein is fast releasing/absorbing. If you are looking for a supplement before bed/meal replacement once in a while, casein might be the way to go. I've been buying this product for about 1.5 years now and I'm totally satisfied with it. Let me break it down a little bit. - It tastes GREAT! Almost like a smoothie. - It mixes well with water, milk, coconut water (lol). - Peanut Butter - Bread sandwich with a Casein shake - Oh lord, it tastes heavenly. - I take Whey protein as well, so I can't really quantify the effectiveness of casein separately, but I can tell you have I have gained considerable muscle overall and have been able to build some strength as well. - Post workout recovery has been quicker, in my opinion, since this is extra protein intake. - It's *slightly* more grainy than ON 100% Whey, but that's okay! I think it's reasonably priced. I'm a huge fan of optimum nutrition and I am a vegetarian. I can use all the protein I can get and I totally don't mind buying casein in addition to 100% Whey. PS: Casein + Plain oats taste great! I used to have oatmeal with Whey but thrown in Casein shake with regular oats, it tastes SO MUCH better, I actually enjoy having oatmeal.

I LOVE OPTIMUM NUTRITION
I will rave about Optimum Nutrition all day, they make excellent SIMPLE products that don't include a bunch of fluff and they don't try and market themselves by promising that their products will do things for you that others won't. Their Casein protein is no exception. Their products are efficient and effective, and they taste good. Don't buy proteins that have a bunch of extra stuff in it (vitamins, BCAA's, etc.). While those are important and you should definitely be consuming them in one form or another, don't let a company mark up their protein 40% because they threw some extra stuff in their. In most cases, you can get better and more effective vitamins or BCAA's for less money by just buying them separately. Educate yourself on Casein in order to decide if it is right for you, and if it is, buy this stuff. It is worth noting that casein protein powder is much thicker then whey protein when you mix it with water and drink it, just something to be prepared for. When comparing different proteins, look at the nutrition facts and look at how much of the calories in a serving are coming from protein. When you are taking PROTEIN powder you expect most of the calories to be coming from protein right? You might be surprised by what you find out.

Good stuff
My experience with ON casein so far. (2 flavors) Peanut butter Chocolate: TASTE - Awesome with milk which is the way I drink my protein shakes. Completely different story with water. Its horrible. Hard to even finish. MIXIBILTY - With milk it takes a good amount of effort to even get it to a drinkable state. It does not mix very well. Almost every time you will get clumps no matter what you do. Ive learned over time never put the powder in first. It will just stick to the bottom. I pour milk, powder and then finish it off with milk. Makes is a lot easier to mix. Cookies and Cream: TASTE - Very good. To me it tastes like a combination of graham crackers and cream. With milk its great but what surprised me was with water. Its almost as good, nothing like peanut butter chocolate. Which is nice if you do not prefer milk with your shakes. MIX - Again completely different story then Peanut butter Chocolate. Mix very easily with both milk and water. No clumps what so ever. I'm basing my 5 stars on cookies and cream only. Peanut butter chocolate I would give 4 stars due to the fact its harder to mix and tastes horrible with water.

Versatile
Really good, can also be mixed in warm milk for a hot chocolate protein on a cold day.
