I've ordered these string quite a few times never disappointed with the quality.I ordered just one string, took some time to arrive. But arrived to day. Instead of the just One 0.008 string, Five 0.008 strings arrived for the price of one string. BrillDeserves 25 Stars. 5 Stars for each string

Does the job! Not pricey. Not bad but I prefer Ernie balls super-slinky!

This applies to all D'ddario single strings. A handy way to get spares and inbetween gauges, but tend to be expensive to build up a custom set. But, cheaper than buying say 3 different sets.

I thought I would only get 5 strings for this cheap price- which is still amazing- but instead I was given 5 packets, each containing 5 strings. THATS 25 E STRINGS!The amount of times my high e string snaps is no longer a problem!I usually prefer the Elixir strings, however, if you need just a single string that keeps on snapping these D'Addario are brilliant- the sound may not be as good as the Elixir, but they price is so low that you couldn't ask for anything better :)

I've found D'Addario's to be decent strings, at least as good as other makers 'standard' strings but (generally) at a slightly lower price. These .008 gauge were bought for the high G of an electric 12 string. I always have to have spare 8s as they are always the first to break, and they do so with monotonous regularity regardless of brand. Being tuned up 3 semitones is a lot to ask of such a thin string. Tuning the whole guitar down to D and using a capo at the 2nd fret is an option but it alters the sound and feel and it creates wear on the second fret so I live with the breakages.

So glad I found these. It's pretty much always the high E string that breaks and this pack of high quality strings is so convenient.

Useful to have in case of (unplanned!) breakage, but the packaging is just unhelpful. All five strings are looped together in the same poly bag. I'm guessing that most users buying this pack will not need to use all strings at once. Problematically, taking one string involves a lot of handling to separate the intimately wound-together fivesome, then you have to put the remainder back. Not good for their corrosion resistance, unless you break a lot of strings, which I generally don't - it's a year since I bought this pack. f'rinstance. Shame they aren't individually packed, even at a slightly higher cost.
