Pool workout
Love these! I filled them with water and use them for my pool workouts and love them! So much better than the foam dumbbells. When they are filled with water, they weigh just shy of 3lbs each.

Nice idea, but they leak
If you're using these outdoors or in a pool, they are perfectly fine. I don't recommend, however, transporting them filled with water in the car or using them in the house as the water will leak. While the weight of each filled dumbbell is relatively light, using these at high intensity will give a very good workout. These dumbbells can be used for HIIT or Tabata style workouts. Try a 20-30 second burst followed by a 15 second rest and repeat this 4 to 8 times using various movements (i.e. curls, presses, lateral raises, cross body swings, etc.) with each burst set. The idea is to move the dumbbells as fast as you are able on each set.

They are dumbbells but not for water aerobics
These things were so big there is no one could use them in water aerobics

These leak, do not buy
We were unable to use these at all because they kept leaking. So I wouldn't recommend them. I missed the window of return so I'm not sure if it was just these particular ones or if they are all defective.
