This is an update on my previous review where I rated this product 1 star. The seller reached out to me and promptly sent a replacement which works perfectly. Based on the excellent response from the seller and a working item I am now a satisfied customer and would recommend both the seller and product

I installed the first set and it was faulty. Seller was very helpful and sent new ones, really pleasant and quick replacement... unfortunatelly i lost the second set somewhere and cant find it so I cant comment if the replacement set worked perfect, but the seller is decent! 😁

My elderly mother has a porch attached to the house, with a step. When she went out she used to leave the external lights on so she could see and make sure she would not trip over the step. Given electric process has gone crazy, I saw this on Vine and ordered one. The light strip comes with backing tape. Once peeled off it has a strong bonding effect on almost any surface. It put it around the internal door frame, which is made of glass. A domed sensor also comes with a back pad that sticks perfectly. The battery pack is detachable and takes 4 AA batteries (not supplied). It is very easy to stick the light strip and sensor. In less than 2 minutes it had been attached to the frame. The sensor is a straight-on sensor. It needs to see you in front of it. The dame does not help to switch it on if approaching from the side. this is the only disappointment. Once set up the lighting effect can be controlled by remote control. It's bright, works very well and illuminates the porch, without needing external lighting. My only wish is that the sensor is more sensitive to side movement and can see movement a bit further away. Overall, this is a great system that has multiple applications. It is bright and can illuminate a very dark area. Recommended.
