How do this handle in the wet, do they get sticky? I plan to put them on my commuting bike I use all year round.

Not at all, its not a sticky rubber - i would describe it more like a harder durable foam. I love mine and to be honest, it was raining most of the days I’ve been out on the bike since getting mine and they were not sticky at all. Do follow the instructions when fitting them and don't be shy using the alcohol they recommend…..they fit very well and tight on the bar! They will certainly not move once fitted! Really a good product.
