Just got it- Touchscreen is very responsive, VERY EASY to connect my iPhone to the system via Bluetooth (just like connecting to a speaker, nothing complicated) and there you have the Apple CarPlay or Android if you have a non-iPhone. Fits exactly in the NAV/dash area of BMW, I didn’t use the attached came with it, it fits snugly. Due to arch could not use a bigger screen, this fits perfectly. Connected with Aux to the car speaker system, sounds normal , can’t tell a difference. No lag, touchscreen is really sensitive and fast, I’m very impressed! Need to better organize the wires and make those tidy , just posted the Photos so you can see.With the price , and functionality, I’m happy! I will report back if it stopped working 😎

This is an amazing package for a sub-$100 CarPlay solution, and I'll evaluate it in that lens. Is it perfect? No. But it also doesn't cost $1200 like the Double-DIN Kenwood I installed in our other vehicle. This kit includes a backup camera that can tie into your wiring. I didn't opt to install it, but the option exists. The display is bright, responsive, and clear, and CarPlay runs at a fairly high resolution on it. There's several ways you can install with Audio coming out of the unit's speakers, Audio routed though an AUX cable, or Audio out through Bluetooth (which means, you'll pair your unit to your car, and pair your phone to the unit). In effect, I just have one power cable powering the unit, and the rest is wireless. So far, after a couple weeks of use, the connection has been reliable, and keeps its Bluetooth connection well. Setup is easy enough to get through, but the documentation isn't the best. The most difficult part was figuring out the pass-thru bluetooth. Tons of options for tweaking sound, with a 12-band EQ, and display settings like Saturation, Contrast and backlighting helped tweak the unit to look better than it did out of the box.A couple things I do wish the unit had was a configurable resolution (I would like objects to be a little bigger on the display) and I wish the backlighting was a little more intelligent to either adapt to the ambient lighting, or dim down automatically in the evening hours. (There's an icon to manually toggle day/night mode, but it's a hassle to get to it while CarPlay is running.)

A great option if you want to have a dedicated screen for CarPlay. If your car has CarPlay and you want to have a dedicated system for it only then this is for you. Easy to assemble and install in any car. Screen resolution is amazing and clear in bright sunlight and darkness. The options that it offers is significant and allows you to customize it to your wants and needs. Makes a great gift. Highly recommended.
