Decent quality
Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase. This was bought to replace the cable for a Skullcandy SLYR headset. The original cord got shredded by a vacuum cleaner, Skullcandy claimed that they didn't have enough replacements to send me one, so I bought a third party cable from Amazon and called it good. It worked great for years, but finally formed a short in it. I figured zip tie it together and continue on, until I realized that the line for the mic was not working. That being said, I decided to buy this one, since the one I bought before isn't sold here anymore. I didn't realize that the one I had before was 6 ft, while this is 5 ft. I plug it into the back of my computer using a y adapter to split it. I have definitely noticed the shorter length, as I often snag it with my hand, or it gets caught on something on my desk. It is a minor annoyance, but it has made it clear that the last one was not too long, as I originally thought. It does not lose a star because of this, that is my fault for not measuring. Other than the length, I have no issues with this cable. Yes, it is thin, but so was the cable that originally came with the headset. The other replacement I got was thick in comparison, however, that did not protect it from getting a short. The quality is exactly what I expected, this is a good replacement for a gaming headset.

Good quality, stays straight, fits where other headphone cables wont.
A well made cable. The pvc that makes up the body of this cable is nice, thick, and flexible. It doesn't rigidly stick to any one shape due to winding up the cable. It almost always lays straight when you want it to. And the overall make of the cable screams premium. Finally, the actual ends are smaller than most other cables. Not the jack itself, its still a 3.5mm jack. But the actual housing at the end where the wire is soldered to the fitting is just way tinier than most others you can buy. This is a god send for me due to some of my headphones, that came with lack luster cables, that have the headphone jack recessed a bit deeper into the headphones. Most other headphone cables simply wont fit, but this one does.If your struggling with finding a good cable upgrade for this exact same reason, look no further. Its weird to be excited about a cable, but this is a legit good one.

2nd timer
Bought one roughly a little Over a year ago. Still works flawlessly. No complaints. New one being on the right and old one being of the left. About a year later, seems there’s been some design changes. 2 grooves are more pronounced and deeper. And the base that the cord comes out is more rounded this time around. Measured it and the cable is 0.2mm thicker than my old one. Giving it away, my old one. That’s why I bought a new one. Or else I’d find out how long it took to cease functioning.

Terrible for Comms
Original~The length was perfect, but the sound quality was horrendous. I compared it to a cable I had (I can't use it because it is too short) and the difference is obvious. I am definitely going to return it, perhaps I got a faulty one, but still super disappointing. After Replacement~So I figured it out. This cable can handle sound, instrumental music, and noises very well. However, it's when there is audio of someone's voice that it falls apart. The person speaking is very silent, and when turned up a ton to try and hear them, it's cracking up and hurts to listen to. Also includes prerecorded voice messages, doesn't have to be live if that matters. This is ignoring that all of the original music or sounds would also be louder, still working fine. Since I wanted to use this for gaming and zoom, this won't work at all.

Works with the HyperX Cloud Alpha
I was looking for a replacement cable for my HyperX Cloud Alpha headset, which I really like. The problem with the Cloud Alpha is that it requires a very thin cable jack to be able to fit into the hole on the headset itself. Well, luckily this cable fits and works fine. It does not offer any volume control or mute features, but it does provide audio and microphone. The sound quality is about the same as the cable that came with the headset, even though the cable is pretty thin.I would buy the actual replacement cable from HyperX, but in a pinch, this one works.

It’s good
Don’t get me wrong it’s good but the cord isn’t long enough it keeps unplugging when I turn around in my chair that’s about it other then that it has great sound quality

Good
Definitely good value for what I paid. Works perfectly from my Xbox remote to my older headset.

Excellent quality & value, tho you may need small fingers
The quality and price is great, works well with my cell phone and aux port in my car. Keep in mind though that the tip caps (the part you grab when you plug or unplug) are quite small and smooth. Good for looks, but on several occasions I have had trouble disconnecting the cable from my phone because it can be tough to grip the ends without pulling on the cable itself.
