I’ve been watching this product for a couple of months, deciding whether or not to buy it. The first iteration of the Stirmate used a regular battery, then they offered an externally rechargeable battery, and this new version has an internally rechargeable battery. I would give it 5 stars if the manufacturers didn't claim the battery lasts 10 hours. I suppose maybe it does if it's stirring water at the lowest speed. For my job, it did about 4 hours. Recharge time was fairly short, so it's not a huge problem. Be sure to read the cleaning instructions. I got mine clean fairly easily despite lots of tomato spatter. It was easy to assemble and put into action. Wish it had a low power beeper. I will be using this a lot.
