Allergy-friendly scent that cleans well
I have a lot of allergies, so I’m usually very cautious with scented laundry detergents. This is the first scented one I’ve been able to use without issues, which honestly surprised me. I’ve been using it for about 11 months now, just under a year, and it’s held up well over time. It cleans effectively, and my laundry consistently comes out smelling fresh without being overwhelming or artificial. The scent is noticeable but gentle, and it doesn’t linger in a way that causes problems for me. I’ve used it on everyday laundry as well as bedding and towels. When I wash larger items like those, I pair it with their laundry booster, and that combination has worked really well. Everything comes out clean and fresh without triggering my allergies. It is more expensive than many other detergents, but the quality has been worth it for me. Being able to use a scented detergent at all, let alone one that works this well, makes the higher price feel justified.

Best detergent for handwashing
Been using this since May when I moved to a new apartment without onsite laundry. I have a washbasin and a mini washing machine and this detergent has been perfect for them. It's incredibly good at getting bloodstains and soot out (can't vouch for food/oil stains, though). I just fill my basin with cold water, add a little bit of the detergent, and let clothes soak overnight and they are stain-free the next day. Now, while it's unscented, it does kind of have a smell. I think it's impossible to have something truly be "scentless." Just know it doesn't smell flowery or linen-y or whatever, it's just kinda neutral/bleh, but only if you stick your nose right in it. It is pricey, but you really only have to use a teeeeny amount. The way I'm using it I'll probably still have some in the bottle by the time my purchase anniversary rolls around (but I am only one person, so, grain of salt and all that). Overall, it's legit and worth it, especially if you handwash a lot of stuff because you hate going to the laundromat lol

Finally, a Fragrance-Free Detergent That Actually Works — Beautiful and Effective
For years I’ve been searching for fragrance-free products that actually work. If you’ve ever tried the usual “Free & Clear” options, you probably know the story: they’re marketed as gentle, but most of them underperform. Tide Free & Gentle (or “Gentle Free & Clear,” whatever they’re calling it now) doesn’t clean nearly as well as regular Tide. All Free & Clear and Kirkland Free & Clear are even weaker. And when Tide Ultra Stain Release Free & Clear was discontinued, it felt like the last great option was gone. Dirty Labs has completely changed that. Their Unscented Bio Laundry Detergent is the first fragrance-free formula I’ve found that actually matches or exceeds the cleaning power of mainstream detergents. The yardstick in my house is my husband’s laundry: he has extremely oily skin and hair, and most fragrance-free detergents simply can’t get his clothes and pillowcases clean and free of sebum residue. Dirty Labs can. The only mainstream product that comes close right now is All Free & Clear Odor Relief, but even that doesn’t perform quite as consistently. With Dirty Labs, everything comes out fresh, soft, and truly clean. And it only takes two teaspoons per load. Now, about those pumps. I’ve seen some reviewers complain about having to pump eight times. Honestly? It takes maybe 15 seconds. That’s not a flaw, that’s just concentrated detergent in action. You can either pump straight into your washer’s detergent compartment or use the little silicone cup that comes with the system and toss it right in with your clothes. It’s neat, tidy, and easy. What really elevates the experience, though, is the Reusable Erlenmeyer Glass Flask. This is one of the most thoughtful product designs I’ve ever seen in a cleaning product. The glass feels sturdy and high-quality in your hand, the proportions are comfortable to hold, and it looks beautiful sitting out on the shelf. No more ugly plastic jugs, no more industrial packaging that you want to hide away — just clean lines and timeless design. It’s eco-friendly, it’s reusable, and it turns laundry into a routine I actually don’t mind. The flask plus the detergent together feel like a well-thought-out system, not just a product. And while I was switching over, I decided to try the Dishwasher Detergent too. It’s every bit as effective as the laundry detergent. Dishes come out sparkling, without residue or synthetic fragrance. No heavy perfumes masking “clean,” just actual clean. Between the laundry detergent, the flask, and the dishwasher detergent, Dirty Labs has created a complete system for the home that’s sustainable, safe, and effective. I’ve been so impressed that I bought sets for my mom and both of my adult daughters. When you find something that works this well, you want to share it. Dirty Labs solved a problem I’ve had for years: how to get truly clean clothes and dishes without relying on harsh, heavily scented mainstream products or disappointing “free & clear” versions that don’t do the job. If you’re on the fence, here’s my advice: don’t just buy one piece — get the whole system. The Unscented Laundry Detergent, the Erlenmeyer Glass Flask, and the Dishwasher Detergent. Together they make cleaning simple, elegant, and effective. This is one of those rare cases where you really can have it all: eco-conscious design, fragrance-free formulas, and powerful cleaning performance.

Messy liquid
We did like the smell, it cleaned our clothes but unfortunately the liquid is too messy and too hard to measure for my adult children. Insert eyeroll. We need to go back to pods. We do use the powder dish soap and love it.

Amazing Scent, Clean Ingredients, and Works Great
This Dirty Labs bio-liquid laundry detergent smells amazing and leaves my clothes soft, clean, and fresh with no residue. A little goes a long way, and the hyper-concentrated formula works perfectly in my HE washer. I also love that it’s made with clean ingredients but still cleans really well. Great performance, great scent, and definitely worth it. This is the only detergent I will use!

It's not unscented. Drove my aesthma way up and may have ruined my sheets and clothes. F--- this brand. Also, as others have stated, the bottle design is CRAP. I hate it when products position themselves as 'premium' but are less useful than the basic brands at the damn grocery store...disappointing.
