Great for keeping me hydrated
I drink this stuff all day. I love it! It quenches my thirst and it also helps me with cramping. It has lots of potassium, Per serving, it has about as much potassium as a big banana. It also has very little sodium, which is a good thing, because my doctor said I need to cut way back on the salt consumption.

Seems to work fast, but needs professional, branded packaging
This electrolyte powdered mix from IXL is not unlike other electrolyte drinks in that it comes packed full of vitamins and minerals to help replenish those lost. The package I received was not quite what I was expecting though (a zip lock bag) and I hope that more formal/professional and final packaging is used in the future. The flavor I got was purple reign, which is a grape flavor and reminds me of other grape flavored products (sports drinks, popsicles, sodas, etc.).Each serving of drink mix comes in its own stick (slender bag/pouch) with one end perforated and ready to tear easily when you are ready to mix it. As mentioned, I received 20 sticks of powder in a standard issue zip lock bag with no markings or labeling, so that was quite odd and something I hope IXL fixes for future orders with more professional packaging. Each of the individual stick has the ingredients, nutrition label, and basic instruction on it (so the lack of overall packaging is not too much of an issue). Other than these are made in the USA, I do not see any other indication of things people might be looking for (e.g., vegan, non-GMO, nut free, dairy free, GMP certified facility, 3rd-party testing, etc.). From their website (drinkixl), I was able to find a few articles under resources that provides information as to why they chose the ingredients they have and how they help promote fast and beneficial hydration, but still nothing on testing of product, etc.The directions indicate mixing one stick of powdered mix with 16-20 oz of water. This seems to be about right for getting the powder to dissolve completely and providing a good flavor. I did find that it mostly dissolved quickly, but there was still some that took a little longer and more stirring/shaking to get fully dissolved and mixed in (otherwise you get a gritty texture). As for the claims of quick hydration and recovery, I do feel like I started to feel like I was recovering before I even finished one serving, so I would say that it probably works a little better than the average sports drink. As for the flavor, well, it is grape flavored like many other grape flavored drinks and nothing overly offensive (unless you just don’t like grape flavor). In all, I think this drink worked well to hydrate me and have me feeling a bit better (and quicker than I had thought it would). I do hope that they get more official and branded packaging instead of a plastic bag as I think this will really help improve the brand and trust in it.

Best tasting electrolytes i’ve tried
This is my second time ordering IXL immunity + electrolyte packets. I mix this in my water after every workout during the week. Both flavors are very tasteful. Definitely will be ordering again!

Contains aspartame
This powered mix is loaded with various types of aspartame. If you are sensitive to it do not buy. Threw it on the trash.

Not that great
To start with, the packaging it comes in is not that impressive. The individual package is good, but the whole pack comes in an uninviting ziploc bag.The taste is not good for me. A cross between pedialyte, sports drink, and artificial sugar drinks. There was also a distinct sharp feeling almost like one pop rock that exploded too violently that both me and a person I shared it with experienced. You really taste the vitamins and everything put in, but not in the most pleasant way.The effect is not bad. With products like pedialiyte I usually feel the effects immediately and thereafter, quick and efficient rehydration. With this product it’s slower but definitely rehydrating. While not the most rehydrating initially, I’d say it still gets the job done.Overall, it’s not the worst hydration mix. But there are better I have tried that also taste better. There’s also a good amount of sugar in each packet, which I would be more okay with if it actually tasted good.

Fills me up compared to regular water. Not a lot of sodium.
I've been using this for the better part of a week now and put some thoughts together on the carbs, the flavor and how it compares to straight water. 10g of carbs isn't that big of a deal for me even though it should be, in a 20+ oz bottle, I can't really get more than 2-3 mouthfuls of this down without feeling really full, so the carbs end up getting spaced out through the day rather than being consumed whole for me. The Purple Reign Grape isn't purple enough in color, it ends up being like a lilac and the flavor is a similarly not grape enough, it's milder and I like lots more flavor. The Raspberry Lemonade flavor isn't very pink in color and isn't tart or sour enough for me. I can forgive the color and flavor failings because there's a bunch of vitamins in there and I get a very full feeling from drinking a couple of mouthfuls.Just a side note about the mix not dissolving fully, it doesn't dissolve quickly. I made a bottle, shook it whenever I got bored, stuck it in the fridge and the next morning everything was dissolved. So prepare a bottle in advance and it'll fully dissolve given enough time and most of it is dissolved in a couple of hours in the fridge.I did one day of water drinking compared to one day one 24-ish oz bottle of water with the pink lemonade mix. Water alone I drank 2.5L of water through a work day between breakfast, lunch and the afternoon after, never felt full but was refreshed. The next day I did the Raspberry Lemonade mix and found if I sipped it through the day, I was pretty satisfied and not thirsty, I didn't buy 4 one liter bottles of water that day. Energy levels were similar but I didn't feel that thirsty, I also didn't feel that hungry either, so I spaced my lunch a little farther out. I was able to "nurse" a single bottle the whole day compared to drinking 3x as much water. Overall I like the product, I'd like more flavor and color, I'd like less carbs but I really like the full feeling I get.
