Needs to be mixed and applied by spray or watering can which means you are a little less weather dependent. Dissolves easily. Very economical compared to "weed and feed". Moss killing was excellent. Greening and strengthening less impressive, nonetheless I shall use it again.

Delivered quickly. Product dissolves well, but could do with a measuring scoop to get dosage right (I had to use our kitchen scales and a plastic cup).Our large sprayer kept blocking, so had to use hand sprayer - very slow. Maybe watering can plus dribble bar is a better option. Either way, it is hard to see where you have covered or missed - until moss turns black the next day, then reapply to missed areas. No info on how long the made up solution remains effective (seems to turn brown quite quickly, implying oxidation was occuring)?Seems effective in killing moss, despite low dose applied due to use of sprayer. Used less than half tub on 200m2 lawn.Will scarify moss out then use fertilizer to help grass recover.

Used this to kill moss before scarifying. I used an approx 7g / litre / sqm solution sprayed on with an Oregon 20l backpack sprayer, so twenty heaped 5ml spoons. I measured the iron sulphate using a heaped 5ml plastic medicine spoon. The photos show the right half of the lawn after about 16hrs (but you can see it taking effect more quickly) and the effect on the moss, turning it black. It took a long time, mainly as the sprayer generates too fine a mist, but with a watering can you would probbaly be refilling it every 30 seconds and miss quite a lot of moss in the process I suspect. It would be useful if some kind of measuring device was included to ensure you get the right concentration and a schedule of different concentrations and their uses (no mix concentration is given for moss killing).

There is nothing to dislike about this product. This is the second time I have bought it (I used on different areas of lawn of course) and it is really very effective. I have also used it on an old and little used hard tennis court that had become overgrown around the edges. There too it worked very well. I applied it with a hand held seed spreader which was very easy and more economical and effective than hand broadcasting.

Bought premium moss killer to reduce the mass of moss in my lawns. It is near end of December and did not know how effective it would be. Mixed in quite well and used a sprinkler to cover the recommended area. Due to it being damp and cold I did not expect much action. Well within 8 hours the moss was black and had started to shrink back. The grass also took on a darker look, gone are the yellow areas. Considering this product is good value for money I am very pleased with the near instant results. I can fully recommend it's use to kill unwanted moss in grass. The instructions also allow for it to be mixed in different strengths depending on the need. So if the grass just needs a tonic use half the amount.Super happy with the results so far and I have used about 1/3 of a tub on a huge area.

Does the job.

This product does what it says, it kills moss. However, it will also blacken grass in the area you treat and blacken that area, so the treated area may need to be re-seeded or re-turfed, if you don't like black patches or possibly dead grass areas.It is possible that the mix strength is too strong, so this could be trialled to get the strength that just takes care of the mossThis seems to be a failing generally with moss killers and many create bare patches, so its not really suitable for those who want pristine lawns.
