It's been learning curve. I love the compartments and the lines around the mats for stringing. They help me keep my piles of beads corralled. These bead mats are making me take the beading slower - it's a learning curve to get the hang of picking beads up on the material used. Beads flip over easily and I can get the needle through the hole better on this board because there is no cushion around the edge. If you are not careful the needle might get caught in the fibers.The beading boards are light, sturdy - not soft & flexible. I can move the mats with reasonable certainty that they won't mess up my piles. My beading table is a thrift store find which was a computer desk. I can slide the projects under the table top and walk away for a few minutes and be relatively sure nothing has moved while I am away from the project. I have cats.

These worked great. Loved that it was a multiple set. It really helped with our concert bracelet making era. Iykyk. Only complaint is that they are a little warped so they don’t lay completely flat. It’s not necessarily a big deal though.

Not what iexpected, it doesn’t hold a hill of beans! My beads roll all over the padding and it keep findings in place. Waste of my money😳

Don't bother ordering the hard back pieces, I just got the felt ones. No extra pieces came with it, just the soft felt pieces. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

These are ok for a very beginner if your past your 5 th project you will not need these

I love having 3 different options. I mainly use the the 2 smaller ones but see myself starting to use the bigger one eventually. The only thing I dislike is my needle gets caught on the mat/board on some spots & causes me to drop my beads or flicks my beads around.

It could have worked superbly if only the material were as soft as regular bead mats. I love the idea of it being hard back and the individual wells for the beads are great. However, When you use seed beads and a beading needle the material is less than accommodating. The material is too hard, the fibers are too long, and there is no cushion to stab the needle into. As a result, when you try to pickup a bead, the needle catches on the stiff fibers and the bead gets catapulted into the air never to be seen again. This isn’t working folks. Put a decent fabric on the board, glue your cut-outs on top, and we’ll try again.
