I only wish I'd bought this sooner! It works so well to contain my messes in my art studio and protects my wood desktop from watermarks, stains and heat damage. It's thick and durable and stays in place on my desk without shifting. I purchased the clear, which has a frosted glass appearance. The color has remained free of stains through very heavy use. As you can see in the photos, pressure marks will appear. If this bothers you, just lift the corner and it will go right back to normal. It has a very neat appearance and cleans up with just a wipe of a damp cloth. It is heat resistant, as well... so no worries about your coffee mug needing a coaster. I didn't clean mine up for the photos so you could see what it looks like with heavy daily use. Great quality and a fantastic value for the money.

I use this to cover my dining room table while I paint watercolor. Stays where I put it but doesn't leave any residue on the table and has not discolored the table. It lays flat, cleans up easily and I like the thickness.

Good quality mat. Using it on top of the same size wood surface underneath a ninja foodie, blender, and an electric grill to protect the wood from stains. Would buy again. Definitely recommend. Can be cut to size if needed with a good pair of scissors.

Actually covers most of the table which is great when you've got a resin 3D printer. Absolutely! Would recommend this, I haven't even taken the plastic off it yet, but it covers the table and it's keeping it safe from resin. Once the plastic is disgusting then I'll take the plastic off and I'll have a whole new mat

Protects smaller work areas, clean down and roll away when guest come. Love the protection it gives to my kitchen counters.

I bought 2 of these to use on my kitchen benches. Unfortunately they aren't cut 90 degrees at the corners, so when placed on the bench it doesn't line up down one side as it's a parallelogram, not a rectangle. Would be fine for a craft mat, but not for my purpose. Will be returning the unopened one.
