Atlas of Animal Adventures

I love this book, I also have Atlas of Adventures which is brilliant and has gone down a storm with every child and adult I've shown it to. The latest in the Atlas series is just as gorgeous as the first, and I love the characters and scenarios the illustrator has brought to life on each page, my favourite being the flirty tiger and the walrus and his woolly hat. The illustrations are so vibrant and unique, I love Lucy's drawing style. I actually have two copies, and Im sure the most difficult bit will be deciding which of my friends with children gets it as it's such a beautiful book I know they'd all enjoy it. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for more of Lucy's work in the future. If you enjoyed the first, or managed to miss this award winning illustrator previously, I would highly recommend you purchase this one (or both!), you won't be disappointed with the quality and content of this lovely series.

Very nice books, lovely pictures and lots of information, happily received gift

We bought this as a gift - it's a really lovely book. Hard cover with lovely illustrations, my kids wanted to keep it! Was well received and would recommend. I'll definitely be looking at other titles in the series.

Lovely book for children. It's a large book but the pictures are lovely and my 2 year old son loves flicking through it.

This ia a lovely big beautiful book. The colourful illustrations are packed with interesting information, my daughter is & and she loves reading her favorite pages over and over.

Lavish, sumptuous, with hours and hours of glorious detail to pour over, this continent by continent guide to the rich variety of animal life we have on planet earth is like a David Attenborough documentary series, but in sophisticated illustrated book format.

Stunning book, with glorious illustrations!!

Just like the other books in this series, The Atlas of Animal Adventures delivers and how! There's enough information to last a lifetime - packed into every page with interesting trivia that one can only soak in after multiple reads. While I bought it to add it to my 7 year old's collection, he does leaf through it on many occasions and throws a fact randomly into some conversation making me glad about having bought this book. It is definitely enjoyable for a nature/animal enthusiast, 8/9 years and above.

Such a great book for any animal lover but watch out it may lead to a major in biology or art so in a way this book may condemn your child to a life of financial poverty even while enriching their intellect. Only kidding it’s a very nice book. I got it for a 2 year old and he’ll grow into it over the years.

Wonderful book!! Contains over 30 different scenes with animals and places to explore! Very detailed graphics and excellent information! I especially like that the animals portrayed in the book are not the "usual" animals often covered in books (has info on narwhals, hummingbirds, green anacondas, and more).
