Review: Genuine UCO Candles From desertcart - Unlike some reviewers I'm rating and reviewing the actual product listed, namely genuine UCO candles! I purchased from desertcart directly and they shipped me genuine product as one would expect. These are the regular, unscented paraffin wax candles supplied by UCO in a box of three. They are correctly sized for their lantern and work exactly as advertised. If you prefer you can order a citronella scented version to ward off insects, or a natural beeswax option that burns for considerably longer and avoids the potential respiratory health issue of petrochemical soot from a paraffin candle. They are, however, a lot more expensive! There isn't a great deal more to say, except that if you purchase from a third party marketplace seller you may well be sent a non UCO generic alternative, but that's a reflection on the seller, not the UCO candles which we are supposed to be rating here. In these days of ubiquitous and long lasting LED lights, candle lanterns are used far less frequently. But I for one enjoy the ambiance of a flame, and the citronella deters insects too as a bonus. A candle is useful in survival situations too, which is why they frequently appear in survival kits. Old school has it's benefits. Five stars from me. Keep up the good work, UCO.

Unlike some reviewers I'm rating and reviewing the actual product listed, namely genuine UCO candles! I purchased from Amazon directly and they shipped me genuine product as one would expect.
