Easy to fit for a Belfast sink, especially considering the issues I’ve had in the past fitting such a waste. Quick to fit and leak free if you follow the instructions.

Just what I was after. Great product

Serviceable product. The fibre washer fits underneath the sink so it is necessary to use a mastic to bed the chrome sink insert onto the top of the sink orifice. Allow this to dry/set before inning water into the sink. I use mine outdoors in a 50 year old earthen ware sink where We wash our wellington so following country walkswiththe dog. The chrome plug is plastic and a it fragile for an outdoor sink, but it works.

Just moved to a house with a belfast sink in the utility, and discovered after a few days the plughole was leaking underneath. It was very old and filthy and gunged up underneath, and totally beyond repair, so I hunted around and found this. It is brilliant. No need to use any plumber's mait or similar to get a good seal, just make sure the underside of the sink is really clean and clear of debris, old silicone etc. The only seal you have to worry about really is the black rubber seal up against the underside. If you want to routinely put the plug in and fill the sink then you will need to silicon around the edge of the top plate too, but if you don't particularly need to do that (and we don't), you needn't bother, it won't leak. Great design, much better than the traditional slotted/unslotted threaded pipe things. I also discovered that the old unit was not slotted, but there IS an overflow on the sink, so had that ever been called upon, it would not have drained. The overflow works fine with this design. Brilliant. Yes the plug is a bit plasticy and cheap, but it stops the water running out, what more do you need?

This was perfect for my Belfast sink. Well pleased with both product and supplier. Recommended.

As with other reviewers the waste fits well and works fine however the plush is cheap plastic and doesn’t work (doesn’t hold water!).

Check your sizing/measurements but this fitted my imperial measurements sink and holds water and has stood up to all kinds of use

Perfect fit for Belfast sink with overflow.As per the instructions, run a bead of silicone sealant around the plug where it mates with the sink, tighten down, wipe the excess. Do not use for 24 hours.
