Suzuki Diatonic Harmonica Hammond HA-20 key of C

Lovely Harmonica. I’ve just got back into playing and didn’t realise Susuki even made harmonicas. Incredible sound and amazing build quality. A little expensive but worth it.

Great sound, looks good and excellent finish. The best harmonica in my collection.

This harmonica (Suzuki Hammond) , does not come well setup . I use a lot of overblows (my hohner golden melody works a charm) , all I got from the Suzuki were horrible squeals , which can often be fixed ..... no big problem for someone experienced with servicing harmonicas , until I came across a horrendous manufacturing flaw, the reed plate screws are glued in , and would break before they can be turned, this renders the instrument entirely unserviceable and unusable in any professional setting. Unless you are willing to drill out their reed plate screws and tap new holes with threading , then this is a harmonica not suitable if you want a decent instrument. I don’t see any reason to buy this harmonica unless you are a beginner and plan to upgrade later anyway, but if that is the case then there are cheaper alternatives. I was really disappointed with Suzuki , as it’s a nice looking “instrument” and feels great in the hand, very ergonomic, nice weight..... but a waste of money . If you want a harp with a metal comb , and that’s what attracted you to this , you can find metal combs for most popular harmonicas, don’t bother with this one .

La armónica está genial. Pero aunque en la descripción ponga que está afinada en Do Mayor (C), te llegará en Re (D). En la foto sale que está en Re (D). No os molestéis en pedir un reemplazo, yo lo hice y me la trajeron de nuevo igual.

Il pacco è arrivato integro e nei tempi stabiliti. L'armonica Suzuki "Hammond" è una delle migliori armoniche che io abbia mai suonato, al pari della sorella "Fire Breathe" che rispetto a questa in più ha anche il come in palissandro. Per il resto direi che si tratta della medesima armonica, come le stesse eccellenti qualità costruttive e di suonabilita. Devo ammettere che sono un amante delle armoniche SUZUKI, che trovo superiori ad altri marchi, pure blasonati. Trovo che - a parte questa che ho comprato , che è stata una bella occasione - il prezzo medio di vendita praticato su Amazon sia superiore a quello di molti negozi sia fisici sia online. Per tutto il resto , consigliata vivamente !
