Perfection
Very sturdy and heavy duty button at a price point that should suit most casual users, but highly recommend enough quality for a serious button maker. Great value and comes with everything you need to make lots of buttons right out of the box.The set up instructions might be a little hard for some to follow, but they do offer links to videos and those were very succinct and helpful. Easier to understand when you watch it.I’m pretty serious about button making and use them as merch for my business. However, I would also recommend this as a craft set up for kids. It’s not much more money than a plastic button maker that will break and frustrate kids with poor results. Smaller buttons are easy to press. Larger buttons might require adult assistance. If your kids become disinterested and it’s collecting dust, you could resell it for a solid price to fund the next hobby. Those cheap plastic presses are all going to landfills. They break. They have no resale value.I have had a very small amount of failed buttons with the press, and all of the failures were my fault. A very reliable machine as long as you set up all the button components properly. Take a second to inspect each button after pressing. If something is wrong, you can figure out what you are doing wrong because it’s not the press.Great press!

JUST BUY IT! 100% recommend- Beginner
Buy it! Its worth it. I do not have 1 complaint. Directions were clear. Materials to make the pins were all perfect. This is my first time making pins and it all went smooth. I read reviews on these machines for days and settled on this one. I 100% recommend!

Vevor Button Maker Review and Mods
Let me start off by saying this is a nice starter package for button making. I decided on the 2-in-1 with 32mm (1.25”) and 58mm (2.25”) size of button molds. I have already modded my machine applying rubber feet to the bottom. This prevented surface damage to tables and more stability. I also added rubber tops to the guard sheets. That allowed the die molds to lock in place better when sliding left to right. This heavy duty model (none ABS plastic handle) should allow me to use fabric and card-stock without issue.

Please do not buy, it works or it doesnt. Do you want to take the risk?
I purchased this for my class to use. It immediately didnt work (as with other reviews), even using the materials they provided didnt work. The machine has a failure rate of 80% and the buttons it does make have bubbling around the edges, please see photos attached. It says in the manual and on their website that paper between a range of 127g -159g works, FALSE. When I contacted the company over 7 emails back and forth over 2 weeks (they said the issue would be resolved in 1 to 3 days) that only the materials they offer will work and sent me 2 links for their materials on Amazon, one of the links went to a page that no longer had the materials. They also said 159g paper works, FALSE. I ordered 4 different reams of paper at a cost of app. $70.00 all within the limit, including 159g paper none worked. I also ordered buttons from 3 different companies, at a cost of almost $80.00 none worked. They refuse to return the maker and so does Amazon. I have spent almost $300.00 of my very limited classroom budget for this and they have said too bad I am out of luck. I see that several people have had similar issues. I have spent hours trying to get it to work, watched videos did all the trouble shooting. It does not work, it is NOT user error. In my experience some tools like this have such a finite work or not that thats what you get . A tool that works or doesnt. I wouldnt recommend taking the risk. Dealing with the company has been a bit of a nightmare as well. Please consider your purchase wisely, maybe it works, maybe it doesnt. If it doesnt your are out of luck.UPDATE:After weeks of back and forth the company did send me a new button maker. This one works perfectly. The whole paper weight range and all worked. I use this maker exactly like the last one. This confirms my original hypothesis that the variables on this machine are so precise that if they are off at all it does not work. So people are either getting one that works or not. I would not recommend you taking the chance. I will also say that using a heat gun on the original machine buttons smoothed out the bubbles you see in my images making them usable, a heat gun, not a hair dryer.

Works great!
I've only ever used the larger button press and metal backings, but for occasional use it's worked fantastic. It does have a bit of a learning curve initially but since getting the hang of it I rarely have unusable buttons come out of the machine. It's sturdy, the buttons stand up to heavy wear after making, and it's handled a variety of papers for the images, including some thicker card stock after some trial and error.
