I got the light and my UV Meter indicated that it's not as good as it should be. So I left a 1 star review as I was upset. The seller contacted me and told me that the reflector I was using(Sunblaster Nanoreflector) is known to be bad for UVB. So I ordered an Arcadia reflector from the seller. When I got it, I was pretty skeptical but I put the meter under the light. Wow! It actually makes a difference! With the Sunblaster reflector it only gave me a reading on 70 on my UVB 6.2 meter, at about 12 inches distance. With Arcadia reflector I get about 110-130 reading! Problem solved! After that I ordered an Arcadia ProT5 kit that comes with Dragon bulb and fixture and reflector. Even better! Bottom line, it's a good bulb if you use an arcadia reflector!

Use this for my bearded dragon. Arcadia is a great brand and it lasts a long time.

I stink at remembering to write reviews. But this one is so deserving. First of all, these bulbs work great. I've been using them for years in my bearded dragon habitats. So, I was already familiar with the quality of the product. However, over the years, I've only ever ordered them from exotic pet stores online. Well, the online store was out of the 34in bulbs and I couldn't wait for them to restock. I was extremely hesitant to order such a delicate item on Amazon because most of our larger boxes usually arrive damaged. But, I was desperate. And I'm so glad that I was. This item was sold to me by Arcata Pet Supplies and it was seriously the most well-packaged item that I've ever received in the mail. We're talking 2 layers of large bubble wrap, followed by 2 layers of small bubble wrap, in a large, long box that was reinforced by some sort of long, very durable specialized cardboard--so the box physically could not get bent. I mean, wow. I have 2 dragon habitats. I will definitely be ordering from Arcata from now on. Very impressed.
