I've had a lot of aquarium gravel/vacuums in the past, some too C size battery's other you could buy a transformer 5w. But this is the most powerful and best engineered aquarium vac I've ever experienced. I only have a 10g but it would better suited for a larger aquarium. It not only suck water out for water exchange, but also filters out fish debris from your gravel. Has several attachments, and filter bag. It also has a pedestal that looks like I can leave it in the corner of the aquarium and leave it on or turn on a different times to clear the water. I change 25% water every week, but may not have to with this. This is a genuine product, and anyone that says it's not doesn''t know how to use them.

It works fine for emptying the aquarium but none of the attachments really suck anytime up, disappointed

I have always hated cleaning the gravel in my tank, but this made it sooooo much easier. I was at the point where I was just dumping everything out and hand washing it. I’m super glad I got this. It made something I hated doing semi-bearable. Great product!

Attachments connect directly to Pump head which is bulky. All of the attachments I tried quickly clog with gravel.The gravel cleaning attachment has a non-removable sponge filter restricting debris removal.When I remove gravel cleaning attachment debris not stuck in sponge washes back in the tank.

Useless. Save your money. Clogs up very easily. More of a pain in the ass then its worth.

Hose was tightly coiled in package and this resulted in a small hole (thankfully I had a spare). Strong suction but the gravel cleaner feature did not meet expectations. It immediately clogged every time and I had to unplug it to release the gravel. It will be good for water changes, but not much else.
