All round great protein flapjack bar. - one box is not enough
After trying one of these at an event I am hooked! They are great as either a healthy / high protein snack or as naughty treat while ticking all the right boxes. The key point for anything like which other users may like are:-Calories and Protein (the main reason for the purchase) - They give a generous amount of protein per serving as well as plenty of calories to keep me going.Taste - The choc brownies is my favorite. I could literally eat these all day. I have also tried to coconut and white chocolate, again taste great.Texture - Little chewy but not to the level of other products that I have tried.Cost - great cost per unit making them an easy and affordable snack.I have tried other brands, however other brands either have the problem oftoo drytoo chewytoo smallTHESE ARE JUST PERFECT, they even have a cool name.

Great taste
Cherry Bakewell review:I originally went for the Double Chocolate Brownie. Chocolate normally hides a multitude of sins but this one didn't and felt weirdly chalky and chewy at the same time. When it came to buying again, I decided to go for Cherry Bakewell. This is more flavourful and verging on slightly oversweet (but not much) and avoids the weird texture that came with the double chocolate brownie version. There are dried cherries and white chocolate chunks which enhance the experience of eating this bar. These are better than the revised Maximuscle Protein Flapjack (why oh why did they change their formula?) and are my new protein flapjacks that I have for lunch.

High quality protein bar that tastes good
These protein bars are very tasty and made with good ingredients. As they do not contain artificial sweetener, they are a little higher in calories than some bars but they also taste much much better.Like many whey protein bars they are rather chewy, but as long as you are only eating one at a time it's not really an issue and personally I think it helps you eat them slower. They are a little heavier than the package weight states so if you are counting calories watch out for that.Only way they could be more perfect as if they avoided soy lecithin.

Tastes like eating coloured soil
I've ordered these previously (before they changed the recipe). Before, they were a bit chewy, but lovely and sweet. Just what you want in a protein bar after a workout.I ordered them this time and they taste like coloured soil and are more of a cakey consistency.I half-ate one, checked two or three others were the same in the box and then threw the rest away. These used to be great. The low carb/sugar ones? Extremely poor and as though I'm eating garden soil.

A very filling Protein bar.
Some flavours seem to stick to the wrapping more than others, so care is needed when opening. A very substantial bar. Very filling. Taste is a personal thing but I found them yummy and will buy them again.

I did not find these disgusting, a little inconsistent one bar to another maybe
I did not find these disgusting at all, they are a little dry, very strong oat taste and texture, the cherries and little pieces of white chocolate chips do balance out the taste/texture well and I personally liked the fact that the bar could be pried apart and broken up very easily. It is not the most chewy of its kind, much less so than the other major brand I bought from Amazon, although it is not exactly "flap jack" consistency/texture.The main reason I have not given the product the complete star rating possible has been that I found there was not a great deal of consistency between one bar and the next, some had a lot of cherries or chocolate chips, while others did not, which really effects the taste. The wrapping on each bar was consistently good and would keep the product fresh, its not difficult to open either and could be done so with wet or cold hands if you are in the outdoors. The bars are all packed into a cardboard, fold up style display box, this is pretty standard in my experience. These are good if you using them either to replenish energy after strenuous physical fitness training or physical work. I also think they are preferable as they are not sugary or chocolate products liable to result in glucose spikes. Recommended.

Great OatBar
Cherry bake well flavor is fantastic, easy to eat high calorie/high protein oat bar, large chunks of chocolate and cherry make these great but also a little crumbly.Nothing to complain about though great product not as dry as other oat bars definitely worth the money great macros and taste.

"New Formula" yes, those dreaded words...
The Battle Oats protein flapjacks used to be tasty and chewy. The new changed formula is rubbish. The texture is soft with a powder like aftertaste. Very disappointed and won't be buying again. The cookies are very nice though and a good alternative.
