I’ve been using this mat daily for two weeks, and overall, it’s a great product. It came well-packaged, had no chemical smell, and rolled out flat immediately—no annoying curling or settling time. ✔️ Cushioning & Stability: The 8mm thickness hits a nice balance. It’s soft enough to be easy on the joints (especially my knees) but firm enough that I don’t feel like I’m sinking or losing stability. I’ve used it for HIIT, pushups, yoga, and stretching, and it holds up well across different workouts. ✔️ Grip & Non-Slip: This thing does not move. I use it on laminate flooring, and even during high-intensity workouts, there’s zero slipping or bunching. The surface works well whether I’m barefoot, in socks, or wearing shoes. One side is designed to grip the floor, and the other for workouts. Both do their job well. ✔️ Size & Portability: The 6’ x 4’ size gives plenty of space to move without stepping off. It’s especially useful for VR fitness since it sets a clear tactile boundary for movement. Rolling it up is easy, and the storage bag is actually big enough to fit the mat without a struggle. ⛔ The Straps Could Be Better: My only complaint is the included straps. One arrived broken, and they feel flimsy and awkward to use. I ended up replacing them with Aolamegs 20x2 Elastic Yoga Mat Straps, which work much better. FINAL THOUGHTS For the price, it’s a solid mat—comfortable, durable, and great for joint support. If you need a large workout mat with good grip and cushioning, this is a great option. Just be prepared to swap out the straps if you plan on storing it regularly.

This oversized, ultra-cushy Gorilla Mat is my stretch + strength sanctuary—perfect for barefoot Peloton sessions without slipping or sliding. Very durable, obviously ease of use and just all around the best mat. It also came with a wonderfully soft sweat towel and velcro ties to keep everything tidy.

My kettlebell trainer recommended this mat. It’s more expensive but it’s so nice, I’m glad I took her advice. Provides the perfect amount of cushion, rolls out and back up easily. Love it!

I wasn't sure about it only because of the price, but im glad I did. EXTREMELY GOOD quality. Doesn't move on hardwood and he as excellent memory foam. Love it
