It certainly was unputdownable, but.oh so irritating when everyone cries all the timeI don't know a great deal about American men, but certainly British men do not have tears streaming down their cheeks all the time as per this novel. It does not ring true one little bit.Surprisingly either Ms Steele.really should research British titles and make sure they are correctly applied to her characters and her publishers should take care that they get right. Having said that, a very good read and much enjoyed

A really enjoyable saga with so much background information from many countries, cultures and changing times.I usually read Ms Steele’s books in one or two sittings, but this one brought both pleasure and concern for several days.

Good read

Although this book was fairly long I actually did. read it in just three goes, I was unable to.put it down. An amazing love story set in troubled times and beautifully written.the

A wonderful saga which had me totally absorbed, I would say one of her best , loved the characters , pure escapism, hugely romantic and did move me . Loved it , a total classic ❤️.

As I have read this book before it still has the same affect on me. This book always make me cry,I can visualise the characters ,as I am reading I am in the book.

Excellent read as usual I love all Danielle Steel’s books and have read everyone of them and have enjoyed them all
