I saw one review video where the guy called these things garbage... while wearing a giant smart watch right next to the compass. For those new to compasses, electromagnetic fields will cause spurious readings. Compasses cannot tell the difference between magnetic fields caused by the Earth and those caused by electronic devices. Electromagnetics 101: electrons moving through wires generate a magnetic field. More electrons moving around means stronger magnetic field. These seem to work perfectly fine on my basic digital watch. Walking on a treadmill seemed to generate enough of a magnetic field to mess with the operation. Keep these away from electronics, magnets, and particle accelerators, and they should work fine. The quality of the mount is not the best, but 5 stars given the price point.

Only seven of these were accurate. The rest of them were defective. I tested them numerous times.

Watchband compasses are so cool. Pair them with a field watch or tactical watch and it makes that watch so much better. 40 years ago they were not readily available in my area but now they are easy to get on the internet.

Made some bracelets with them and they work good for that and work well.
