After years of daily use, my original finally needed to be replaced. This is a great length for use away from home, and I will keep reordering.

I’ve always found anchor products to be dependable, and this cable is no exception. Long enough to use while sitting comfortably in a chair with the charger several feet away on the ground. I purchased this cable back in 2018. This year it started charging intermittently and then eventually wouldn’t charge at all.The cable worked reliably until then. Charged well and the cord itself held up well. A small tear on the “jacket” that covers the lightning plug where it connects to the cord, but wires were never exposed.Anker warranty support was smooth and hassle free. Filled out the warranty form, provided proof of purchase and a couple pics(easily found with a google search) and they responded within a couple days.After a brief questionnaire in an attempt to troubleshoot, a replacement was issued. They may request you to return your broken equipment, but if they do they provide you with a paid shipping label.Not all models of their cables offer a lifetime warranty, so make sure you buy the correct one! It’s worth the extra cost!All charger cables I own are from Anker and my experience with customer support validates my decision.Fwiw, I was NOT offered any freebies to post this review, just a request to kindly do so...AFTER my warranty support was already handled and I had my replacement cable in hand. I thought it was the least I could do to show my appreciation for excellent customer service.

Hands down the best quality charging cables

Much better than the junk from Apple. This seems purposefully built to avoid the plastic collar (where the cord meets the business end) from breaking, which happened on every Apple cord I’ve ever owned. I’ll update if things change, but it seems bombproof

UPDATE: October 30, 2018.I received an email from the Anker company within a day of updating my review. They were very polite and replaced my cords no questions asked. I had them 2 days after the review update. My cords are working great... as they always do at first. I will let you know how they are doing in the mean time.I am putting them at a 4 star rating because I have always had great customer service with Anker. They are fast and friendly and willing to replace a bad cord. I really hope that these cords hold up. I am getting tired of buying cords for my devices. I have tried the other brands and they are worse! So I will stick with Anker for now.UPDATE: October 22, 2018. I was really loving these cords... they are the most sturdy cords I have found for my Apple devices...but in September they started to go downhill! My sons red cord will not charge his iPad but it will charge my iPad and iPhone?? My silver cord will only charge his iPad with no problems. But the silver cord will only charge one way. You have to turn the cord over and plug in on one certain side or it will NOT charge. And if I get it to work it will charge my iPhone VERY slowly. I had to start using my old short iPhone cord. I am not sure why the part that goes into the iPhone is looking like it is burnt out but you can see in the photos, I posted, that they do in fact look burnt. I am now seeing this in more of the photos others posted. Also, I noticed that my cord heats up hot when I am able to get it to charge my phone. I will be contacting Anker to let them know. Will update again.-End of update-I bought this cord this last March and so far it is THE BEST cord for my iPhone/iPad out there! I bought the older versions and they did not last long. They were flimsy cords bit they were better than any of the others out there.This cord is really sturdy and solid. The cord is thicker than any others. I have yet to have a problem with them being bent at the connection. I recommend these to my family and will be buying more for all my Apple devises.

Has been working well. Outlasted many Apple original cables which rotted away. I trust Anker to produce good, robust hardware.

Maybe a little too long but works great and charges fast.
