Gave me everything I needed to get three of my epees ready for the next tournament. Making some adjustments allowed me to find problems without having to rewire two of my swords.

Addendum 3/12/21
Addendum 3/12/21: we received a replacement, but did not come with instructions, so we reached out to the seller and they replied with the manufacturer’s instructions that now appear on the Amazon website. It does work as stated. When you plug in your blade and body cord, the tester will buzz constantly and the light will be on and red. Depress tip, and buzz and light goes off. If your foil or connections register off-target, a green light will turn on or flicker. You can strike or beat your off-target foil and it will also flicker to indicate your blade’s not right. The constant buzz/whine may initially disturb, but is helpful feedback in addition to the lights. A good foil will have clean red light and constant buzz, even on beats until the tip is depressed. Stars to the seller for their responsiveness.Addendum: 2/19/21 the seller reached out to us today to replace the defective item. As a result, we have adjusted our rating to reflect the seller’s efforts. We’ll be able to re-evaluate when we receive the replacement. (Original evaluation: “Arrived without instructions. Plugged in body cord and Leonark buzzed constant tone with red light. Plugged in to foil, and Leonark continued to buzz constantly with a red light. Depressed foil tip, buzz stopped, and red light off. No green light, no light at all. Tip pressure released, and buzzing resumed with a red light. Sent email to seller, no response. Called Amazon customer service, item returned.”)

much smaller than expected
we buy fencing tape all the time, and there is a certain standard size that it comes in. this tape was a fraction of what we usually get for the same price. i wish there was a picture showing how small the roll is, it would fit in a hand... disappointing...
