Powermaster 16A 3-Gang Splitter – 230V, 3 Pin Power Adapter for Electrical Devices (993054)

I used this 3 way splitter to divide the electricity from a caravan park 16Amp power pole to the main caravan, the BEV electric car charger and an outside 13 amp extension lead to be used in the awning of the caravan. It took all three and there wasn't any problem. Just to remember you only have 16 Amps so i limited the car to 6 amps for overnight charging and only used a 4 amp (1000watt) kettle or toaster in the awning and this left 6 Amps to be used for the hot water heater that i had on for two hours before we got up and had breakfast. You could use timers to use the available current without overloading the circuit. I recommend this 16A splitter as it did not let any water into the connection, fit my other plugs with a well engineered tight fit and performed flawlessly when used correctly.

The two (3-way, 16Amp) splitters were bought for use on campsites, where it is necessary to share one site socket. Ordered on 24 Aug, and received on 26 Aug! At £10.98 each, they are bargains. Both have been tested and work perfectly.

Great idea

Purchased this three way splitter in order to run power cables for lights and socket into my caravan awning. Happy to report it was easy to plug into power supply and to plug in the two separate extension leads as required. I was quite impressed with the overall quality of this splitter and thought it to be good value for money.

Good bit of kit - still the cheapest I can find - Idea for campers Motor Homes and Tourer Caravans where you use electric hook ups. I myself have a tourer caravan and it allows me to run the caravan supply and also a supply to my awning to run a fridge, heater and lights.

I have one myself and I sent one to Poplar Farm Rescue Kennels so that we could connect upto three caravans to the one mains outlet if required. It is a pity that one of the outlets has not been built to connect normal 13 amp UK plugs which would be ideal for connecting grass trimmers and washer units. Instead you have to purchase a short conversion cable with a caravan type plug on one end and a 13 amp socket on the other, most of which that you can purchase are not waterproof at the 13 amp socket end whilst the 16 amp plug is waterproof, as is the cable. This item is handy on sites where all the 16 amp supply sockets have been occupied so that you can insert this unit between the site outlet and whoevers cables have taken the outlets over. I have seen people taking up two site outlets one for their caravan and one for there annex. The site wardens should not allow this with there being units like this one available.
