Bought as gift for elderly relatives. They enjoyed it as it’s their era.

My mums absolutely loved this film

I am an addict of Hollywood musicals. I have accumulated a great collection from the Gold Diggers to the present movie versions of Broadway musicals. Of course, MGM occupies the central stage. But I like very much the simple and homely musicals of Doris Day Gordon MacCrae Gene Nelson. I have Tea for Two and By the Light of Silvery Moon already. On Moonlight Bay completes the trioka.

I love this film, so bought it for my work so they can enjoy it as much as me.

This looks like it was transferred from another copy. The 4x3 aspect ratio isn't enabled and colours bleed around the edges. Thankfully the disc was cheap.

Doris day in one of her best films - what more can you say! - it's so 'period' we will be putting it on over the coming Christmas holiday when we have family visit us as it has that certain 'something' about it that makes you want to sit down and enjoy good, quality entertainment. A BIG 5 Stars easy
