couple of terrifying moments during installation while attaching this to the back of one of the most expensive things i own, but did the job. bit disappointed that the instructions omitted the bit about using the plastic card to ‘unlock’ the hinge after securing the plate to the display, prior to hanging it on the tv mount.

Looks VERY strong, and very well built, but it does NOT fit a 21.5inch iMac mount. Unfortunately the 21.5 inch iMac (at least the one I have (late 2009)) doesn't allow the rear from being removed to allow this one to be fit.

UPDATE! Screws failed and my 27” iMac fell only my glass topped soundbar and broke both! This is NOT fit for propose and Nothing like the pictures. It is more like a cheap silver painted metal. NOT aluminium as per iMac and the product photos are pure photoshop! Annoying that sellers deceive customers. But does the job and will try and purchase an original Apple VESA adaptor.

Item only suitable for iMacs upto 2012. This should be stated in the headline. I didn't read the small print somstuck with item that is not suitable for purpose. Very disappointed.
