This is just a great casserole dish, plain and simple. It's nice and heavy and distributes heat evenly and the extra depth means your never fighting with not over flowing it even when making particularly large casseroles or lasagnas. And the cover makes transporting a dish, storing leftovers, or making ahead and freezing a breeze. This item has become a work horse in my kitchen and I highly recommend it.

The casserole dish with lid is great! It fit perfectly in the carrying case I ordered. The shipping cost was a shock, however. I was under the impression this item was being delivered from within Australia, but I was charged international shipping of about $70. I wasn't happy about that.
