Great Value - Great design - Easy to assemble.
The coop arrived in two boxes and they were not damaged. It assembled very well and the instructions were adequate. There were two 1.5” hinges missing so I had to run to Ace to grab those. Everything fit together firmly and solid. It’s a great design and has been well thought out. I’d recommend this to any of my friends.

:(
Very flimsy. Everything was crooked and wouldn’t go together correctly. All metal hardware came out of the box covered in a thick crusty substance. We can’t even use the opening top of ours because of the poor quality. All the predrilled holes were off and the wood was too thin to make our own holes. Wood was split in several places before we even screwed them together. We figured that was a small problem we could deal with so went ahead and put it together which was a bad idea. Also there were big gaps in the wood once put together so not at all weather resistant. My poor bunny would be constantly berated by the wind while she was inside the house portion because of all the gaps. We have to lift up the entire hutch everytime we go to open or close it because the latches don’t match up. We ended up using cinder blocks to try to lift up one side and make it even. Would not recommend to anyone planning to keep this outside even in mild weather. I struggled back and forth with the company for months trying to return the item and they basically just put me off and kept asking for the same photos over and over again until the purchase was out of the return window and then was just like ‘sorry it’s too late’. Extremely poor customer service. Don’t trust them to fix anything because all they want to do is blame you for their poor quality product. I’ve bought dozens of items from Amazon and this is honestly my worst experience ever. $250 wasted on a hutch that I couldn’t even use the way it was supposed to be used. I’ve never had a problem with purchasing from Amazon but this experience has made me wary of making other purchases. Please, buyer beware. These people will not own up to their faults and make things right. Better hope you get lucky and your hutch doesn’t come with as many problems as mine did because even showing photo evidence is not enough to make them do something.

It can be relocated. This is very important for chicken health.
My Hens Love it! I really only use it for my girls to lay eggs and protection needed for a reason. My girls roam the backyard.

Received the coop earlier than expected (that was a plus!). Inspected shipment and it was damage free! (which was a surprise per the other reviews) It took about a hour and a half to assemble (with a drill). As I assemble the pieces, I used wood glue along with the screws provided for added stability. All screw holes were pre drilled so there was no cracking of wood when screwing. I did have to remove and reposition the roof hinges, this allowed the roof to be centered and aesthetically pleasing. I also made a base to set the coop on (screwed in) out of pretreated wood to keep the coop base from deteriorating quickly. This base added more stability as well (I highly recommend it). I did also put a cross support between the front and backside to sure up the right-side screen area (I highly recommend this as well). This support also will act as a perch. I am pleased with the coop and the added support I have done to it, I feel as if it will last twice as long and help keep birds in, kids/predators out. The only real disappointment I can express was on the quality of the hardware provided. I have not changed the hardware as of yet but I am sure it will be something that needs to be done in the near future. If you but this coop, build a base and install a cross support and you will be happy (cost me under $20).

It’s not big enough for even 3 chickens.
Unlike many of the reviews, nothing came broken, or split, when we screwed the screws in. Just pre drill your holes. It took, myself and my 85 year old father, about 2 hours. The only thing that was off, were the lid closures. We were sent 2 right hand closures, instead of a left and a right. I’m a little disappointed, that it was smaller, than led to believe. I wanted at least 4 chickens. It’s barely big enough for 2. Unless you get bantys. Spend the extra money and get a bigger one. I usually read the reviews before purchasing, but, I got excited and didn’t, on this. I’ve wasted $300.

Good price fully functional
This coop was super easy to assemble. It’s not the sturdiest but it’s far sturdier than some reviews would have you believe. It’s withstood some summer storms and we added wheels and handles to make it a “chicken tractor” I love it

Several uses
I bought this for a feral cat we trapped to spay. It’s perfect. Needed a recovery spot and she did great. Now we have it for fostering kittens or other feral cats. It’s inside my shop. Easy to assemble.
