delivered on a Sunday. much bigger than thought they would be. if you have a square and round set the smallest is a lot bigger than them. I needed one to make nests for the wildlife centre near me has they need lots, for the birds who have lost there nest for many reasons. Also the small animals to keep them warm and together till they get bigger. I have knitted nests but I wanted to try making them on the loom. if I need another round loom I will buy these again. well sturdy and chunky defiantly not flimsy and hard to use.

I recently purchased my first loom set from hobbycraft and was really disappointed with the build and quality of the looms, they were rough to the feel and I had to file down quite a few pegs to stop the wool catching. The pegs also fell out which was seriously annoying. I'd read previous reviews on the Boye loom set and I've got to say I'm really pleased that I decided to replace my hobbycraft looms with these ones. They're much nicer in build and quality. They feel sturdy and smooth. I like the style of the pegs as they have a kind of groove that prevents the wool from slipping off the peg. I have yet to find fault with them. It just goes to show that it's always worth spending a little more to get a better quality product!

I’ve only just started with these looms and I have yet to learn which different stitches can be done, but the hat and cowl I’ve knitted with these looms were so easy.There’s an instruction leaflet inside, along with the hook and darning needle. I opened the box and was away with it in minutes. Perfect for those who like to keep their hands busy.

The gauge was too big for my yarn but overall it works with thick yarn

Sturdy rings, good size but plastic hook handle broke soon after using. Good product.

I have had another loom set which drove me mad as the pegs kept falling out while I was in the middle of a project, so I bought this and it is the most sturdy, set that I have seen. Boye seems to be an excellent make, very good quality and I can see this set lasting me a very long time. The hook you get with it is very good too, it has a soft handle which is much easier to work with.

This is a great item whether you are young or old, beginner or expert as it is so easy to use and you learn quickly.It comes with 4 well made plastic looms of varying sizes and a hookI have made several small hats for China dolls and they look great.As with knitting any type of wool can be used.
