Guide Rail Protective Caps Compatible with Makita Track Saw Rails

The fit was perfect for my Makita rails.. Does not disturb the grip strip on the bottom of the rails, but holds on tight enough that the caps stay on when removing the rails from my Makita padded case.. The caps seem robust and should last a long time. They will definitely protect the ends of rail in transport as well as on a rail when it’s being used on a stationary multi table.. It’s a great tool if you are particular with keeping your tools in top working order..

It has sharp edges that the dust hose gets caught on. They should have put a nice radius on all the edges. Disappointed it does not work much better than just the raw track. It does offer some protection so I will keep them. I will try to break the sharp edges with a file or a router with a round over bit

I had been interested in this item since I purchased my Makita track saw 3 months ago. Need something to ensure the ends of the tracks remained unbent so they could be easily extended. Took the plunge and was surprised at the quality, fit and finish of the product. I am sure these will last a very long time and keep the track in great shape.

These are a necessity for anyone moving around tracks alot or just peace of mind to protect the edges. They fit tight so start with top end that has the rubber guard on it & then slide it down over the bottom. The color matches well also.Taking off a couple stars because the paperwork that comes with it encourages you to email them. I emailed them & never got a reply. 🫤

I really wanted these protective ends because I accidentally dropped one of my tracks and got lucky that it wasn't damaged. These caps will be helpful if I ever make that mistake again.

These should be included by Makita. Given the cost and precision of those tracks, why risk ruining the mating by leaving ends unprotected. These stay one, protect your tracks, and match from a color perspective. At this price, don't even think about it. BUY THESE.
