FRAM FT1206A Transmission Filter Kit

There are two different gaskets to choose from. Transmission doesn’t leak after installment. I strongly recommend this gasket for the 48RE transmission.

The gasket provided for the transmission pan was folded in the box, so had to use permetex to tack it to the pan, also the gasket needed to be thicker and rubber.

If you change your fluid according to manufacture recommendation, you will be ok with this filter. Comes with 2 different gasket for selected vehicle.

I am happy with the gasket, but was disappointed in the filter. Couldn't use it. It has only 2 mount holes rather than 3 that hold my filter in my 47RH, but that wasn't the bad part. This filter is about 3 times thicker than OEM, and I could not use it with my OEM oil pan. It would probably work with a deep pan, but was too thick for the OEM pan. Fortunately I had a spare filter I could use in it's place. But I do like the gasket that is in this set.

Easy install and has worked great, no more transmission not slipping into gear properly.

The gasket is just a standard rubber. It will work I'm sure. As for the filter it's not a fit for a 96 ram 1500 5.9 rwd.So I just trashed the whole Kit and gotWhat I should have the first time! Amazon is slipping int to hot garbage itself!

Came with multiple gaskets one of which fit well
