Love Weenect GPS!
This GPS works very well. I have a very rambunctious 50 lb puppy who runs like the wind. This GPS keeps up with him. I definitely feel safer with it on him. Should he get loose it will be of great help to me in locating him. The GPS unit is very lightweight and he doesn't even notice it's on his collar. I love the History function as you can enter any date and time range and it will show you his activity level. 5 Stars!

Inaccurate and disappointing
Customer service for this product is very confusing and unhelpful. Please get another tracker, perhaps the tractive tracker, I have that one now and it work incredibly well. The weenect tracker is inaccurate, has a very short battery life span, and is very confusing to use.

When it works, it's accurate, but it's flaky if you are rural
We are in a rural area so I already knew that our cell reception is spotty which affects these devices. This is probably the fifth tracker I've tried so I'm not new to these devices. When it works (which means when you are getting great cell reception and in an open area so that GPS reception is good) this tracker works nicely. The superlive function is nice, the map is nice, in general it works as you would expect a dog tracker to work. The ability to setup safe zones and battery saving zones is nice but unfortunately they don't seem to work. If you get one day of battery out of this you're lucky, regardless of how often you set it up to ping GPS or whether you are in a "safe zone". 10 days as advertised is a joke. I did really like that there was a web interface as well as the phone app where you can track pets and modify settings. The tracker itself is small and light weight and the provided silicone collar attachments are nice and feel secure. All is great as long as you're in an area that gets great cell and GPS reception. But the good stuff ends there if you are rural. If you're in a rural area then this thing starts to be behave strangely. We seem to have a few dead spots on our property, then other areas where we get 50 - 80% coverage. There are times that it is sending/receiving signal just fine, then it stops randomly. I have found that the web interface seems to work better than the android app, which is bizarre. There are times that the tracker is "asleep" and never wakes up. There are times that it is tracking just fine, then randomly stops. There are times it says it's sending/receiving signal but the position on the map doesn't update. There are times that it gets "updates" and you have to reset the tracker which is fine unless it's actually on your running dog at the time. It is difficult to "wake" the tracker up after removing from the charger. Sometimes it never wakes up and you have to reset the whole thing. The sound/vibration feature is also worthless. I have been standing with both the sender/receiver in my hand and asking it to send a sound and it says it does, but the receiver never makes a sound. Useless. I have had strange behaviors where just restarting the app or my phone results in completely unexpected behavior, good and bad. It is also very difficult to figure out how to turn it on/off and what pressing the button on the tracker actually does. I've read the FAQ but the instructions there don't match how the tracker behaves. In general it just acts flaky when you don't have perfect reception, making it unreliable and therefore useless. I will be returning this and continuing the search for a dog tracker that actually works. I'm so sad the Findster Duo went out of business because that tracker actually WORKED in a rural area.

Not the greatest
This tracker is a great idea, with a bunch of features though. In the app it has the option of ringing or buzzing your pet almost simulate an ecollar, which is supposed to work for training your pet. My cat hasn't quite figured it out yet. It has a flashlight that makes your cat easier to find in the dark, I've tried to turn it on a few times, it has successfully only turned on once for me though. You can set the gps update cycle for a variety of times to extend the battery life, or rapid cycle the tracker for when you've actively lost your pet (which I have done and it's very helpful). It is supposedly waterproof and weather resistant. It comes with a sillicone tracker holder, and a replacement holder, which is always a good idea. You have the option of a premium warranty, to receive a new tracker in the event that you've lost your old one. Lightweight and not too bulky, but not very accurate.

Very impressive
I recently purchased the Weenect tracker. My wife and I were extremely impressed with this product. It was easy from the beginning. Easy to set up, easy to install and the app is very user Friendly. I would highly recommend this product.

*****DONT DO IT******updated
I don't think I have ever left a review before, but I feel like I need to warn people. The charger broke after less than 4 months. After over a week of trying to communicate by email (because you cant actually talk to a person) i paid to upgrade so I could chat with someone. (still cant actually talk to a person) After another week and a half they tell me oh sorry charger is not covered have to order a new one. Funny how the charger is $50..... guessing they know there is a problem there and they are just profiting off of it. I'm so angry and frustrated! UPDATE: a few days after posting this, they reached out to me. They sent a couple new chargers and said they were correcting the charger price online because it was priced wrong. They also added 2 months to my subscription. Was happy they made things right, just wish it wouldn't have taken so long to get things straighten out.

Peace of mind
While there is room for improvement, I will say that this device is small which is ideal. It has many functions rather than only track , it chimes and vibrates that works well with a pet that is already trained. I would have given it a 5 Stars IF I could have move options with GEO fencing- That proves to be highly frustrating for me. Tracking accuracy is off however only slightly and given the mountainous terrain I think it works quite well. Battery life I would rate a 2 , it doesn’t last as advertised. Overall so far it’s a keeper but does need some improvements mainly with Geo Fencing- That was for me the most frustrating and disappointing for me. Other than that I would still recommend this product.
