This 'magnesium oil' (note: the term 'magnesium oil' is a misnomer, as there is no 'oil' in it - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnesium_oil) is a concentrated solution of pure Magnesium Chloride (MgCl) suitable for transdermal application (i.e. rubbing into the skin, through which the magnesium chloride gets absorbed). I rate this product highly, as it leaves no long-lasting itching or residue on the skin. Also, it appears to work well for my husband (in conjunction with oral, enteric-coated, magnesium chloride supplementation, e.g. Slow-Mag or Mag64) in terms of successfully eliminating night cramps in the arches of his feet and helping in the treatment his previously debilitating experience of 'patellofemoral pain syndrome'.
