I want to first offer a correction to the claim on the box that these slides have ground edges: they don't. The faces all meet sharply. It's only the corners that have been ground.Each slide is separated in the Box by a piece of tissue paper prevent scratches. Though the slides do seem scratch free, neither they nor the cover glasses arrived adequately clean, and will all need to be washed prior to use.Looking through one slide while outside, the glass had a very faint blue tint, though I don't have a way to quantify this or specify the affected spectral range.Having done professional biology lab work in the past, I've used higher quality slides and cover glasses. But, considering I got these for my 12 year old as a compliment to the high school-grade microscope I'm giving her for her birthday, I'm quite satisfied. Great science has been done in days past with equipment inferior to this; our greatest bottleneck is the mind.

I have got to say this is one of the most carefully wrapped packages I have ever received. I am very impressed. The slides arrived in perfect condition. Not a single one broken. They came with the cover glass and a small pair of tweezers. The edges are ground so less likely to get cuts. Excellent quality!

These microscope slides came very well packed. It would be pretty hard to break them in the package unintentionally. They are clean and ready to use and they came with 100 thin cover glasses. One of the best features of this set is the cut proof edges that makes it safe for my 7 year old son to use.

This pack is slides for microscopes is a really good amount.One of the biggest potential issues could be the slides breaking in transit. These were packaged tightly packed, vacuum sealed, and then wrapped tightly in a bubble mailer and packing tape. They arrived safely.

The media could not be loaded.  Having a microscope on hand has always been a good thing. Say you get bit by some kind of tiny critter and want to figure out what it was. Or you get a troublesome splinter that needs close examination. And then there is just appreciating the wonder of the microscopic world. These slides and covers are indispensable for that sort of thing.

We use these for craft projects, not for the more traditional use under a microscope. Therefore, I don't have a rating for them as a scientific product. I can say that they are perfectly made for our use in crafts. This that includes both rectangular slides and 100 square thin cover slides. Very happy with them.

The product is of good quality! The slides are clean and work great! I really like it!
