Essential to have in any crafter's inventory or sewer's kit. Very easy to use, does the job well and holds up nicely. If you are concerned that the adhesive will fall off where you are applying it, a few machine or hand stitches will keep it secure. Recommended.

Update for Amazon: this item has arrived (and ditto the black Velcro strips). On a cycling jacket, both outer shell and inner liner are polyester, the white Velcro is to divide one all-way-round-the-back pocket into 3 compartments. Hence 4 x 30cm vertical strips, in pairs, inside the LH and RH pocket openings. The 2 empty wine bottles demonstrate how one's pocket items will get moved around the garment base; see the photos. Most difficult part is last step: adhesion-fixing Velcro strip onto inner surface of the outer shell...adding to confusion, its colour is white. Can still get to middle compartment as jacket (which has a lining), that lining is not fixed until neckpiece, and may even subdivide that section. More generally with Velcro strips: one can quickly alter fixing as the adhesive takes quite a while to stick fully. Not so with sewing, and possible if messy with gluing. Black Velcro, for cycling, am using as additions to existing cycle bag straps. Cycle manufacturers call their all-purpose Velcro straps DooDads (these have a plastic buckle, I bought a pair recently). But ordinary Velcro strips can achieve the same end...at fraction of the cost. Finally, for my needs, product is 2m long and gives one ample spare. One's design may not quite working out (trail and error). There must be tens of uses on garments alone for such strips, highly recommended customers give some thought!

Inspiring headline isn't it? But what else to say of these Velcro strips (the proper patented stuff no less)? The two strips come in a plastic bag, cut to the length you required; after years of having deliveries from Amazon where the item is lost in an absurdly cavernous box, this was a nice change. I used the Velcro to stick a portable SSD to my laptop and a surge protector plug to a chest freezer - exciting times! It was fine for both jobs though was very slightly loose until a sustained amount of pressure was put on the item. This loses one star, but for the price and efficacy it really is hard to criticise.

Bought for a particular use but have found it has come in very handy for several other jobs.

Good enough for what I used it for but if you wanted this type of product for something requiring more Secure bond I'd reccomend a tougher type.
