Bought extra squares for our set. Grandchildren really enjoy creating different marble runs. Work great strong magnets...

My 6yo daughter got the 100-piece marble run kit from Grandma and Grandpa for her birthday a few months ago. She loved it, yada yada yada, but my husband loved it even more. What's the issue? Turns out 100 pieces was just not enough to satisfy his inner engineer (or...inner child? Hard to tell sometimes...maybe it's both?) and my daughter was getting frustrated because Daddy was taking all her toys. So obviously there was only one solution, and that was to buy more pieces. Thankfully this 12-pack is a great value! It's now easier for the two of them to use all the slides and tubes from the 100-piece kit. (And there might be a 200-piece kit under the tree for my husband this year.)

Picasso Magnetic Tiles are a wonderful opportunity for imagination and skill building. The marble runs are definitely not for the faint of heart. The marble runs require a much higher skill set than any 3 year old has. It is a wonderful scenario for an adult to assist a child build their “run”. While shopping for marble runs, it was obvious to me that you need to purchase additional parts to actually construct most of the idea plans. The idea book has plenty of suggested plans, (with non-matching colors for the design pieces which was somewhat frustrating) and these additions made it possible for us to create a modified run, in the amount of time we had. I rated it 4 stars due to the need for additions, the time required for assembly and the confusion of the colors in the idea book.

7 and 3 year old play with this setup for hours. I think we spend the most time with this toy out of anything we have. I bought more of these pieces so every tube has a start and end piece. That way my 3 year old can mix and match without having to snap them together. She just pulls them apart and connects them how she wants them

One of the best things we bought for our toddler. He plays with it daily and doesn’t get tired of it as he rebuilds it all the time, combining with two other sets of Picasso tiles! Highly recommend!
