so-so performance
my go to string in the past used to by Wilson NXT but I keep breaking them and the polyester string, while break less often, is murder on my elbow. I was hoping that this string would check all the boxes but I guess not. No bite or control because of the lack of spin. It is gentle on the arm & shoulder but longevity is only comparable to the Wilson NXT. I strung it at 50 lbs on a Wilson Hyper Hammer 5.0. I guess I'll have to go back to Solinco Hyper-G soft polyester after all.

comfortable
Compared to my previous Solinco Hyper-G Soft Tennis String, this one is more comfortable and friendly to the arm and elbow. It offers good power, although it has less spin. Overall, it is a good string.

Plays well with low tension
These strings felt very good in power and comfort when strung around 40-45lbs. The color looks great and my tennis elbow does not hurt as much with these strings.

Soft, yet lively string
I would consider this GOSEN LuXair Assist to be slightly better than a mid-level multifilament string. I prefer my multifilament strings to play a bit crisper, like the Wilson NXT Tour or Max strings. GOSEN LuXair Assist has the liveliness of a quality multifilament, but it plays on the softer side. I also feel like it doesn't have as many individual fibers comprising the core - when the string started to degrade the outer cover was breaking down but there was not a lot of shredded fibers you see from most higher quality multifilament strings. In any case, I found this really easy to string with and it had above average playability until it broke after 18 hours of play. That's respectable for a multifilament in the crosses with a textured poly on the mains that tends to saw at the cross strings.

Good comfort.
The strings are very comfortable. I've had tennis elbow in the past and these strings seem to be easier on my arm. Typically, we play two to three hours of doubles at one time and I have noticed a little less fatigue on my arm and shoulder. I ordered the 16 gauge with hopes that I will avoid breakage longer than my usual 17 gauge.

great string
For starters this string was super easy to string with. did not crimp or knot up. weaving the crosses was smooth sailing. This string was great on court as well. good tension maintenance after initial loss. Comfort was better than synthetic gut or poly string. Spin was limited but super comfortable with great feel.

Good name brand string at a great price
Long time stringer and tennis player and familiar with this great brand. Good balance of durability and feel. Recommend you try it out and see what kind of power and control you get.
