Originally, they had an option for 300 capsules, unfortunately they discontinued that option. I have taken BioAstin previously and was amazed that I could spend a day in full sun with no sunblock and not get sunburn. This product is the same as the more expensive name brand, which both are excellent quality. I also have noticed less joint pain when I take this on a regular basis. I have never experienced any side effects from taking this, even on an empty stomach. I can't speak of any energy boost, but perhaps I just didn't pay attention. I would highly recommend this as part of your daily supplement regiment, specially if you're in the sun a lot and don't want to put chemicals on your skin to protect against sunburn. I do have light brown skin, so if you are fair skinned, I would say maybe take 2 in one day if you're going to the beach or going to be in the sun all day.

This is the second Bad product i've received from this brand in a very short time frame....The First was this same Brands "Alcar" supplement a few weeks ago, I've been taking Alcar for years, and I've taken very High doses with absolutely no problems whatsoever, and this Brand's Alcar supplement made me throw up 13 times between the hours of 12am-5am I literally thought that I would die that night if it had kept going on, I could barely move for days after, but luckily I know how to doctor myselfThe Next experience was my recently purchased Astaxanthin which I also have used for years and at very high doses due to it not being capable of becoming a "pro oxidant" like other antioxidants tend to, my Heartbeat got noticeably louder and more erratic over the course of days, my energy levels dropped like an Anvil, I found myself laying down all the time which is very against my character, and I became more and more stressed......I checked my BP and noticed it very elevated it was 158/43 and I knew based on my supplement use that It shouldn't be there, so I pulled back on my supplements immediately and only used Sterile Peptides being wary of the Bulk Supplements brands I had, I used my other brands Antioxidants to be safe, after a couple of days of keeping away from Bulk Supplements Brands Astaxanthin specifically my BP came back down to normal, my heart stopped racing, my energy levels picked back up, and now I'm wary of all of the other supplements I have from this brand.I noticed a while back that their Niacinamide supplement didn't affect me the same way after the change from 650mg capsules to the 500mg capsules, and I still feel like the effect from them hasn't been the same......but since this experience, I am now 100% against buying from this brand until I see that things have changed.I am the only person to look after my Dad, I can't afford to get sick, and I definitely can't afford to get sick from the supplements I thankfully can afford in my efforts to stave off getting sick in the first place!I almost had it in my mind that I may have had overdone it when taking the Alcar, after I threw up 13 times, but in the days after I recovered, I thought that couldn't be the case because I have documented proof of taking Alcar of other brands consecutively for days and not experiencing the same thing...the same with Astaxanthin.Luckily I write down Literally EVERY single Dose I take of everything I take, I write down the date/time, and pill amount of each supplement immediately every day I take things, it helps you to differentiate the experiences you have in your supplement use, and also it helps to "doctor yourself" so to speak.Today at work I was also looking up anything about it, and ran into a few articles showing that they have failed Quality tests, some for heavy metals, and dosages being way off in both directions, Higher and Lower.I rarely leave reviews but after not seeing a single review of this caliber here I felt like I should share my own personal experience, to keep people aware of this brands products at least.I'm not looking for anything, I do not want a free hand out, I don't care for this brand as a whole anymore, as two incidents within weeks of one another with the same brand is outlandish.
