Perfect for a chewy Labrador puppy
I bought this crew root for my 26kg, 6 month old, labrador puppy. I bought the medium sized one and it's just the right size. She's had it for over a week now and it only shows minimal signs of damage, only teeth marks (visible next to her red Kong Toy for size comparison) and it hasn't crumbled to nothing. Has kept her busy for hours every day. When it does finally wear down to something that's too small I'll happily get another one.

A bit expensive but worth it !
My large breed puppy loves chewing sticks so I bought this chewroot to see if it would keep her amused when she's lay outside on the grass. She still has her puppy teeth, there are lots of teeth marks but very little damage so far. I was a bit reluctant to spend so much on a small piece of wood but I think it will last a very long time and my pup doesn't seem to get bored of it like some of her other toys.I'm sure my adult dogs would love it too but I can't afford to buy one for each of them unfortunately. If your dog like chewing wood they should really like these chewroots.

Puppy didn’t take to it
This is a bulky root which is safe to chew (wood crumbles in very small pieces unlike sticks). I’ve only been able to give 3 stars as my puppy doesn’t seem to like it. The bulky shape seems hard for her to get her mouth around and she just has no interest in chewing it. We drilled holes in it and put in treats and cream cheese which has been a bit more successful. But the shape really doesn’t seem to suit her (she is a springer x cocker spaniel 6 months).

Brilliant for teething puppies!
We bought this for our 6 month old Corgi puppy when he was teething really badly and it was without a doubt better than any of the chew toys we got him from stores... In fact we bought him two different sizes! He loves his wood to this day and will sit and chew it for hours. They don't splinter so your dog won't hurt the inside of their mouth and it's the best thing to buy your puppy when their needle teeth are bothering them.

Very pleased
It seemed crazy to spend this sort of money on what is effectively a piece of wood or root, but this was recommended to me by a friend. I was so pleased with the first one I bought, I have now bought a second one for my lab x springer as the initial one is getting small. She just loves to chew. Tiny pieces come off this, but it doesn't splinter and in my opinion is great for heavy chewers.

The best chew toy for a puppy
I bought this after I discovered my newly acquired Tibetan mastiff had a thing for chewing anything in her sight but especially loved sticks and anything wooden. She ignored it at first, it took her a few months to really get on with it. Now she's weighing 48 kg I find that she fits this in her mouth and just carries it around all day. It seems to be the only chew toy that she will use and it's showing no signs of wear. I'm hoping it will last a long time but it's already proved to be good value.

Yes, lasts a long time because my dog is not that interested
A friend recommended this to me, as she said it lasts ages. I now know why. My dog seems to think, "It's a piece of wood just like the ones in my owner's log store, yawn" So after nearly a year, it remains hardly touched and I'm thinking it would be more use on the fire to keep me warm. Sorry but that's the truth.
