Adams Handmade Soap Thick Organic Castile Liquid Hand Soap 1 Gallon Refill- Unscented

Being a swimmer, I have had difficulty finding a liquid bodywash soap which has NO ADDED SCENTS OR CHEMICALS and is easy on the skin. This soap is extremely thick and with just a teaspoon it foams up very well with a body sponge or a textured long wash cloth. You feel really clean after using the product. Although I use it on my hands and face, that may or may not work for some people. Always apply a moisturizer immediately after showering WITH YOUR BODY STILL WET. That way the moisturizer hydrates the skin better and reduces the risk of any irritation. Although some coarse textured washcloths may feel good while showering, I don't recommend them for people with sensitive skin. It could also give you a false impression that this soap is not delicate enough.

It is very thick. Its mild on the skin and leaves you squeaky clean no skum buildup it's similar to an equate wash. Did not burn my skin as the equate does slightly but this was great. It lathered up really great when washing hand, but when showering it seems like the soapyness wasn't as it was when washing hand which i found strange. Great product overall.

Finally! A Castile soap that doesn't have any glycerin which means you can use it with tap water even if you have hard water and it doesn't ruin the soap making it greasy by separating the saponification from the oil. Of course they use glycerin to make the soap, but they used up all the glycerin in the soap making process. I haven't done extensive test s on the performance of the soap with the hard water or anything, but I've noticed that a little bit of tap water doesn't cause it to create a greasy film like it does with any other Castile soap I've bought on Amazon. It's also at a very good price at the time of this review. I highly recommend you get a little squirt bottle and put the soap in there because this stuff is super concentrated and you end up wasting it if you put it in like a Dawn dishsoap bottle or anything that pours. I assume everyone knows what Castile soap is and that's why you're here. But if you don't, it is straight up simple soap that cleans well, is harmless (I mean don't eat it, it's still soap) and rinses away cleanly but usually hard water does not rinse it away cleanly but for this one it does as mentioned before. It cleans very effectively compared to other soaps, it does not clean as well as Dawn, which is a odd chemical compound that some call a detergent but some even debate whether it is a detergent because it is so odd chemically, but it is healthy unlike Dawn, which is a pile of poison basically and I can't believe people still wash their dishes with it. This is still soap can be a great tool in your arsenal, along with specialized cleaners for things you don't need off of, surfaces you don't cook on, and things that you can basically cover in poisonous chemicals in order to clean them. For those surfaces you can use other cleaners or you can find harmless cleaners for all those surfaces too And just have an arsenal of cleaning tools that aren't endocrine disrupting, organ, damaging, reproductive organ harming, bad for pregnant women and cancer causing, with sites like ewg skin deep, it's easy to find harmless products and among those harmless products, you'll find that Castile soap works really well. There isn't much of a smell, it doesn't really lather but it cleans so who cares.

This is a high quality soap that will last you forever, especially if you use it in a foaming pump bottle. There are several different scents to choose from but I chose unscented so I could add my own scents or just use without if I didn’t want fragrance on a certain day. I’ve used it as hand soap and body wash but i’m sure it works great as a multi purpose soap. I would trust anything I buy from this seller because it is a very ethical company and strives to sell quality, fair priced products.

Great unscented soap. Have tried other brands of unscented soap. All other brands were unscented (no scent added) but the ingredients themselves or the processing caused an unpleasant smell. This soap is great with No detectable smell. Very thick and being so it takes a little bit longer to mix with water. I use 70 parts distilled water to 30 parts soap. I make a quart at a time and use it for a general purpose foaming hand/shower soap. Definitely Recommended and will purchase again. UPDATE: ORDERED AGAIN (2 gallons) Problem with 1 of the gallon containers. One of the containers had No Seal. This container was also short on soap contents. Weighed this gallon and compared to the second gallon. The unsealed gallon was almost 5oz. Short. There was no soap in the shipping box, although there was a small amount of dried soap near the cap. No clue as to how or where this happened. Not Happy when I receive unsealed containers. Contacted seller and reply was to contact Amazon.
