However, it's not without its flaws. The diffuser, while functional, was somewhat challenging to manage and occasionally produced a mild ring of shadow in my photos. This issue, though not a deal-breaker, did require a bit of extra effort to mitigate. Additionally, the included backgrounds are double-sided and folded, which seemed practical at first. Yet, the fold made the "back half" tricky to position properly, often resulting in it not staying in place as desired. A more thoughtful packing approach could potentially alleviate this minor annoyance. Another point to mention is the gradation in lighting when taking top-down shots. I was able to find a simple workaround by placing a reflective material against the open side of the box, which effectively balanced the light distribution for these types of photos. Despite these issues, the light box exceeded my expectations in terms of quality for the price. It's a solid choice for anyone needing to conduct quick product photography sessions, those on a budget, or beginners looking to dip their toes into photography. I ordered the 25cm light box because most of the items that I video or takes photos of are normally small. When I received the lightbox, I immediately knew it was too small. It's really easy to assemble. All you have to do is pull a tab inside the box that will straighten out the box. Then you insert the backdrop, which you have multiple backdrops colors to choose from. The lights are on the top of the box and shine down on the subject. If you want to, you could put the box on the side to shine light from a different angle. The light turns on when you plug in it's usb to a power source. I have a few magsafe battery packs for my phone that I used to plug in the usb. It's nice, because it makes it even more portable. There is a diffuser you are supposed to use that will spread out the intensity of the light on the subject but they did a terrible job placing the velcro in the box. The diffuser attaches very awkwardly and hangs down. There is a circular cutout is supposed to match up with the top of the box but it doesn't line up very well but that's because of the way they set up the velcro. Other than that the Studio Light Box is a very well made product. It lights your subject very nicely and if you are trying to photograph something really small, this will do just the trick. But that's the thing, it has to be VERY small. The box is so small that even small items that I use are too big for it. You have to crop most of the pictures because the silver sides show up in your pictures. I want to get all of the resolution that I can out of a picture so that's not good at all. I used a 2 inch toy, and even that small item shows the sides of the box. Overall, the quality of the product (other than the diffuser) is amazing. The biggest con is that it's too little. If you use small jewelry as your subject, maybe this will work for you but if you are going to use this for anything that is not tiny, I would recommend getting a 12" or larger and definitely NOT this one.
