Positives:Arrived nicely packaged. Nice soft ? Cotton cover. Zip works well. Inside is a removable piece of foam to allow the height or customising to be done. This also allows more space where calves lie on, and thereby reducing pressure on - a definite plus! The foam didn't have an overpowering smell to it - I have bought other foam products in past and have had to air them before use! It comes from Germany.Negatives: It has a lovely firm foam base, over which is about 3cms/ just over an inch of a softer foam. However for me this did not make it soft and comfortable for my legs. It was still too firm and this made my legs ache. If the layer of softer foam was thicker and softer, and allowed the legs to sink in, rather than rest on top, this would have made it more comfortable. Or made/ sold with an additional layer of soft foam that could be added in to make it more comfortable. Also to help sensitive legs - the ends could be curved instead of at right angles.I reluctantly will be returning this, and will continue to look for something suitable! However if Sissel could make this more comfortable I would spend the money and buy it again!Ps when sadly putting it back into original packaging, went to do zip up and end of zip came off in my hand!

It fits the purpose! So far no complaints and I recommend it to anyone with varicose veins. A good buy
