Q: is this genuine leather or a man-made look alike?

Man made look alike......... My husband did not like it

I don’t know, but mine is about 3 years old and it is falling apart!

Q: how large diameter a watch will this case hold? Several Panerais I have are over 57mm diameter

Stephen, I tried measuring the size of the cutouts for the watches. Keep in mind that these are close, but may not be exact. The length is approx. 143mm. The band width is approx. 35mm. The width of the circular portion at its widest is approx. 57mm. So, if you have watches that are larger than 57mm, you might want to look at another case. This one is nice though and luckily my watches are all small enough to fit.
